Readers will have noticed Stuff's ludicrous practice whenever mentioning any actual or pretend maori, of listing the subject’s tribal ancestry in brackets after their name.
Two questions arise, both about consistency.
First, why does Stuff confine this nonsense to maoris? For example, if they mentioned me would they put in brackets after my name “Welsh-English”? If not, why not?
Second, virtually daily Stuff reports maori criminal court cases. Why do they not put the offender’s tribal affiliations in brackets in these cases.
The answer to both those questions is simply hypocrisy in line with their constant maori wonderfulness propaganda.

if anyone can advise someone who can contrive a convincing whakapapa to maori for me I would be much obliged. Footloose maori used to prey upon my widowed great grandmother. Who knows what entailed? Why waste time and effort writing for BV when I can get paid for my "maori" viewpoints. I am inherently negative and thus obstructive so am ideally qualified.
More so why don't they add their non-Maori ancestry? It would at least help fill the paper to make it actually look like a newspaper and not a Labour electioneering pamphlet.
I can see some "interesting" responses to this - so I will start -
1/ - Irish- Scot, and/or Irish-American,
2/ - French and arrrr French
3/ - Greek - Australian
Please feel free to add to this list -
The reason they don't state european ancestry is primarily because shame of european ancestry and sometimes hatred of anything white.
Aided and abetted by MSM.
Pray to god they dont start chucking religion into the mix. (sorry about that)

Many seem to have three, up to six Iwi/hapu. Given the importance they place on "their" hill, creek and village, I wonder just how they sort things out.
Ray S love your style!

Cornish and West Country, Irish, Scottish, Channel Island French, Norman French, Icelandic, Swiss, a random Middle Eastern touch, quite a lot via Australia (no convicts) …. How amazing it has all come together to make me!!!!!
Ka mate, ka mate, let's all pretend to be Maori. I think they are getting worried that their precious culture is being devalued. Or wondering how (much more) they can charge for their tuition in Te Reo etc.
All of our councils and institutions have bought into this crap but people have been sitting quietly and thinking hopefully "One day, the worm will turn".
That day is hopefully upon us.
And Stuff will be stuffed.
