Fiona Mackenzie: Treaty Principles Bill oral submission (Brilliant)
Absolutely brilliant Fiona, thank you. Apologies that you had to be subjected to the lowest of the low-IQ Green Party MPs, Steve Abel.
Thank you Fiona Mackenzie, WhangāreiTim
Fiona Mackenzie is a businesswoman who has combined self-employment with voluntary work and is a firm believer in the safeguards that true democracy provides.
Insulting comment from the TPM member.... only their opinion is to be considered. The SC is a sham - despite best efforts by people like Ms Mac Kenzie.
It was fascinating to watch the panel hearing the submission - checking emails, having lunch and totally disinterested. And these are the people we elected to represent us.
i've never used Zoom, or whatever it is, but I can now see the benefits - seeing the reactions, or attempts to suppress the reactions, of thos in attendance. inho a very mediocre lot. What a great presentation.
Brilliant words by Fiona McKenzie, bravely spoken. And they will make a difference, I'm sure.
That is if this National and NZ First wants to win the next election. Otherwise they are sleep walking their way into defeat at the next election. And National are well practiced at that. Just look at 2017.
And then here comes the Ethno Socialist Republic of Aotearoa.
Congratulations Fiona. Maori believe they have a unique spirituality wrst landscapes but this is common to all of us . I have also climbed Mt Taranaki . I love mountains for the humility they invoke in me - the nothingness , life's fragility . the importance of having fewer strings in life . to feel how tiny I am after watching the night sky , so many stars . All these things lead to joy in the presence of a mountain. But it is not a person and it is for everyone.
