I live in Lower Hutt and happened to come across articles in the local paper and online about Wainuiomata High School and an actual Maori activism class taught by 'so-called' teacher, Nicole Hawkins.
Do all high schools and universities teach Maori activism?
Strange that they're so proud of this, but they will not return emails or phone calls when I question it!
We have a grievance industry, not to be mistaken for a grievance process of righting 'legitimate' wrongs, and one only needs to watch the theatrics of the new Maori party MPs in parliament to see this country is getting more racially divided by the day.
Started with mischievous banter, now just downright lies and innuendo being tossed around as if it's the 'new truth'
Where will it end?
Certainly not with Labour or National, who are slowly turning to the 'dark side' more every day National came in on a campaign of tossing race-based policies and privilege out, all we are seeing is just more entrenchment and subterfuge to promote it and install it further into "our institutions!

Feel your pain and frustration.
I too have a really sore head from banging it against a wall of indifference, deception and straight out lies.
Its like someone living in denial of the untreated cancer that's slowing destroying them.
Waking up is one thing, doing something about it is another.
The next election will be the defining moment of the country's history.
If the status quo remains, were screwed, if the left reclaim power were totally F***ed.
The chances of the only parties saying they are committed to real change are polling under 10%

Yep, white middle age here. Never received anything free from handouts, no grants, just worked, no kids thankfully. I’m basically selling everything and heading off once my 99 year old grandfather goes to the big beyond. The government doesn’t care about those like me and judging by the polls, neither do kiwis.
In this recent budget, $100,000,000 was allocated to racist Maori programmes.
Wouldn't that have made a big difference to Health Services ??
