The Australian Prime Minister's just wrapped a live address to the nation on the oil shock.
And here, our Prime Minister is making his own announcement about a cabinet reshuffle.
It's a bit of an odd time to do it.
He's got Reti and Collins leaving, so he had to do it some point. The day before Easter Friday means he wants to spray and walk away for the weekend.
The good news is there's plenty of talent to promote - the likes of James Meager and Chris Penk.
Which is a contrast to the Opposition where the pool is quite shallow. Water comes up to your ankles.
For Luxon, getting the right team around him is not just important for running the country, it's his entire election strategy.
His pitch to voters is basically that he's the HR department. He prides himself on putting the right man in the right job.
The fact he's doing it today also suggests that he's not listening to the press gallery, who criticised him for opening Christchurch's new stadium while Nicola Willis was left to front oil crisis stand ups and pressers.
This is not necessarily a bad thing.
He's doing other stuff. Like reshuffles, thank you very much.

If these people are so much better at the job than the incumbents, why wasn't it done a year ago? Seems more like a desperate move only months out from an election.
I could understand the opposition doing their final set-up, but the government should have all the best in the job after 85% of their term has passed. That Labour and Hipkens are seen as a more acceptable choice shows just how far National have fallen. Not even decent managers, just fumbling along hoping things will improve.
SO "The Master of RMNZ Titanic", to avoid a total sink, had a re-shuffle of the "team" that will play at The Black Jack table.
This "shuffle" intended - (not only to replace 2 - one leaving after being removed from a Ministerial Post, the other "going" because she does not want to be around as the 'good ship' National sinks - that would put a dent in her "no lives were lost" comment) but to show NZ that we "will sail forward" and ignore that is happening around us.
It is a pity that this "re-shuffle" did not include the Minister's of -
- Health, Police & Broadcasting - will leave readers to ponder that.
To CXH: Luxon / Nat.may prefer to be in Opposition for a rest - and let Labour accelerate He Paupua's progress. This is clearly Luxon's main aim.
