Chris Trotter is a well known political commentator.
The left may be lukewarm on some matters of policy but elements of them are red hot at using social media to attack private individuals, as well as public figures.
Some of these attacks are causing damage and the offending Facebook pages are attracting thousands of views.
At least three of us have contacted Ginny Anderson (Labour MP for Hutt South) to take action and have those pages taken down but evidently she has more important issues on her mind.
I am sorry that I voted Labour last time and specifically for Ginny. I willl not make the same mistake again.
He makes mention of the useless state of National and it's true. Luxon is for all practical purposes, an opposition asset.
And because of aloof missing in action "Head Salesman" Luxon, National are in effect, trying to fight this election without a true leader. Or worse, in spite of him. I've never seen anything like it.
They are not centre-left, they are ''progressives'' not genuinely left old-school, more concerned with CRT, DEI, promotion of sex gender agendas like the EU overlords. And they include former conservatives who have drifted into a uniparty mould with progressives including LibDem who are not old school liberals.

Well said, Chris.
Truly - the so called "centre left" is in fact the Enemy Within !!

I haven't listened yet, so maybe this isn't relevant.
But isn't the problem that they are nowhere near centre?
