Hon David Seymour would serve NZ with aplomb as Finance Minister after the 2026 election , a step up from his present position as deputy.
NZ will have to radically alter their borrowing strategy to make a ten year plan to fiscal probity.
That plan will be made obvious after the election .
Interestingly the Green Party likes to pretend they can pay for their $237 Billion in promises by taxing the rich. But their own figures say the incremental tax take from wealth taxes, gift/inheritance taxes, increased company and income taxes etc, only pulls in an extra $21 Billion so where does the rest come from? Borrowing money, or printing it?
Replace the N/A in the third column with "Costs per non-Maori Household" and do some estimating. I suspect the result will shock.
