I totally agree with don brash. He speaks common sense. He is what kiwis used to be like. He is speaking like an adult which we rarely hear these days .Labour is hell bent on destroying democracy in nz was the best comment. Why do they want us to live in the past? Every country was going around colonising each other in that era. . If it wasn' t the english it would have been the french, the spaniards or the dutch or worse colonising nz. In fact nz could have been taken by a non democratic country. To now force us all to look backwards and judge history in a woke or different way is ridiculous. The woke want to change the truth. All kiwis should oppose this.
