Garrick Tremain: Snap election

Here is Garrick Tremain's cartoon commentary on snap election!

Garrick Tremain is one of New Zealand's best known artists and political cartoonists. With a background in farming and advertising, he has a wonderful ability to capture in images exactly what people are thinking in a way that makes us laugh. You can see his more of his work on his website HERE.

I have always considered 14 Feb 2020, the day Bob Jones withdrew his court action against a hyper sensitive activist who objected to his observations, as the end of non PC humour in NZ. The likes of 1970s /80s NZ comedies have all disappeared from TV. But gloriously Tremain, and seemingly only Tremain, is maintaining our inherited British colonist culture and tradition.
