Garrick Tremain: Rewriting books

I gather sales of the original Roald Dahl have soared. I wonder if the revised version was largely a promotional stunt. His writngs for adults very readable; the auto biographies Boy and Going Solo and his book of short stories. Would seem ideal for getting boys interested in reading. At a younger age Biggles did it for me but he is now beyong redenmption.

Yes, well put Garrick. Perhaps you could give Tusiata Avia some lessons of how to make an intelligent poetic statement subtly, without showing ignorance and resorting to hatred and vulgarity.
