Bob McCoskrie: The media say the quiet bit out loud

In quite an incredible admission, the previous head of TV3 news Mark Jennings confessed that senior journalists around the country discussed the possibility of the media not reporting Winston Peters if and when he spoke about the Labour government’s $55m public interest journalism fund.

But it’s not the first time this type of collusion amongst media has happened. A similar discussion happened when Family First tried to place a full page advertisement asking “what is a woman?”

Bob McCoskrie is the National Director of Family First New Zealand, he has a Masters of Commerce with Honours from the University of Auckland and a Diploma of Teaching from the Auckland College of Education. He posts regularly on McBlog

NZ is certainly treading the road to perdition....... it is hard to admire
many of one's fellow opportunistic countrymen punch drunk on a little authority.

But they have one dubious talent - they have hidden the lies well so as to hoodwink the gullible and ill informed.

Thr PIJFund would have been commendable had it had objective reporting as the condition. But the insistance on a blatant pro maori bias was not well publicised and listening to the likes of Peacock of RNZ I wondered if he had ever read it. That Board chairma, partner in cohoots with Ma???ingi Forbes looming over all and the myriad maori pro maori staff clearly rattled him and others.

Media are there to report the news. The media admitted collusion to control the news to reflect their left wing politics. So much for media and journalistic ethics.
