The dumbing down of all kids is necessary for the upcoming tribal dicatorship. These kids are being goomed into acceptance. They know that all the boomers who enjoyed full freedom will be gone and gen x will be old. You can't have bright kids who will question the system.

I'd rather have faith that some of the coming generation can think for themselves. By no means are all Maori hipi either - thank you Elizabeth.

Spot on - pure evil.

The last part was what scared me even more. If a majority of parents want it, then secular is out and religion is in. How many schools could immediately teach and implement the caste system from India, or the beliefs of Islam? This seems to open the door for state funded religious indoctrination.

There are elements of facism at work in New Zealand. The indoctrination of children with racial supremacist ideology, anti democratic, dilution of free speech, ideology control of courts and media. The whole country being reconstructed on a racial basis.

It is an indictment on the govt that such carelessly worded legislation is proposed. The likes of Elizabeth are burdened to spend hours of private time and money pointing out the gross flaws. Most of NZ's current race problems arise from carelessly (or artfully) worded legislation, not all challenged.

"Artfully " - no doubt about (sinister) intent.

Robert "such carelessly worded legislation", I think it should be "such carefully worded legislation". I have no doubt they wrote exactly what they wanted it to be.

Sorry, I have NO FAITH in the rising generations. The impact of Critical Race Theory and the collapse of education standards over decades means simply that brainpower lost ... is LOST. There are several generations now powerless to think independently, and critically, and fearful too. That includes most in parliament.

ie. LAZY brainwashed and fearful non-thinkers in parliament and bureaucracy.

We also watched the Platform discussion with David Seymour https://theplatform.kiwi/podcasts/episode/david-seymour-reviews-jacinda-arderns-memoir-a-different-kind-of-power where this education act was very briefly touched upon. If I caught it correctly, David is aware and this has obviously been discussed in cabinet as he was quite guarded. Aware this BS is in the draft Act, he indicated that it was to be dealt with via the Potaka/Goldsmith 'pigs will fly' activity about treaty principles in other legislation. I take it that this is a National led smokescreen to keep this 'sneaked in' Treaty BS in the final Act. I hope they take note of my submission that says 'rip it out' and says why. It is effectively a treasonous Marxist inspired initiative to continue indoctrinating NZ children.

Michael Laws short piece that followed his chat with Elizabeth Rata is also worth a watch: https://theplatform.kiwi/podcasts/episode/michael-laws-on-treaty-rules-that-will-destroy-nzs-education-system

I am "just phoning" our illustrious Minister of Education, Erica 'someone' to ask if she is aware of this and if so what action will she take to -
- place on hold
- withdraw from circulation
- put thru a shredder.
With articles like this, I am reminded of a recent exposure in the USofA, where it was found that " some bright zealots, aka Federal Employees", had been writing added criteria to Federal Legislation, that placed additional burden on those that would be required to adhere to said Legislation.
The problem was, that Congress had no idea of the actions taken, read the said documents, or passed said amendments into Law.
Why do I raise this - well, have we had some "bright zealots, aka as Civil Servants (Min. of Education)" do a similar thing??
The phone is still ringing to the Minister.
