Anything goes under our present electoral system. The aim is tribal rule by 2040. How they get there is, I suppose, by any means possible. There are certain changes the coalition needs to make. Abolish the Maori seats, abolish the Waitangi Tribunal and defund the MSM. If we don't do these things we will lose our democracy. We are not living in the 50s, 60s or 70s now. Then it was most likely, Labour, National, Labour, National. Those days are long gone.

Our coalition must act against this immediately by ridding us of the Maori electorates. This is the ONLY way that this rort via collusion Labour/Tea Party Mori. Come on coalition, get your finger out and do it NOW!

No - WE must insist. Parties exist because of voters.

When will NZers wake up?

I hope someone with a high profile could initiate a Petition to Parliament and promote it. The petition is in no way binding, but it would make the public aware of how the overhang works and how unfair it is.

One thing I have learned about the left, they will do anything to get what they want, fair or foul means, it is all the same to them as there is no honour amongst thieves.

I recall msm laments after the last election and the headline on a Penfold column ..''democracy needs to change''. It sure will, to a rigged ''fair'' version of managed democracy. With a constitution in place that requires all political parties ( and no doubt all govt dept and uni staff) to pledge allegiance to the specified version of the treaty. Nice way of ensuring no govt to whatever is deemed the ''right'' of Labour can actually govern again. Any proposals would have to pass the treaty test version. Unless of course they implement approved policies. Reminds me of the old Eastern Bloc where in some countries there were indeed different parties and, as in DDR, allocated seats but they were all loyal to the constitution. By law. Or bye bye. I have put the scenario to devout union-Labour people I know and they have no problem with it all ...a little smirk and a comment about democracy does not work as it is ''unfair'' to ''Maori'' (all part white anyway) and ''minorities''. Like trannies. I guess therefore it is unfair to Act and NZ First. They are minorities. Umm no only SELECTED minorities fitting a prescribed victimhood. I would like to use my name but too dangerous for me.

We have all the hallmarks of a civilization about to go belly up, with an aggressive but ignorant group taking everything they can while those in authority are weak, indecisive and trying to be "reasonable", letting it all go.

Seems we have sabotage all around, in the Education 'system' via the latest Education & Training Bill and now here with MMP itself, any more candidates for the sabotage merry-go-round? Don't worry, Luxon & Co will facilitate.

I recently had a convo with one of my sons. He thinks I'm racist agin the Maori elites. He says that Maori lobbying for what they want are no different to corporations lobbying for what they want. I pointed out that corporations at least give something for your money. Maori moan and snivel and take, take, take. We all built this country together but someone wants to steal more than their share. And our young ones think its ok.
