Gazans chose otherwise, shielding their Hamas tormentors over their own children - and this is still the status quo. The blood is on their hands, not on Israel’s.
No government that still upholds even the vestige of human rights should be making any statement other than “give the remaining hostages back - and your statehood is permanently off the table in the name of those already murdered.” Let the Islamic world absorb the Palestinians as a diaspora that they had a huge hand in creating.
To isolate Israel now is to take the side of savages who burn babies and cheerfully butcher and kidnap their families, while calling it “justice.” New Zealand, my own nation, ought to know better. 3,000 Israeli soldiers were also killed or wounded in vicious house to house fighting in Gaza. The Western media happy to ignore that a war has taken place and instead make out that Israeli has bombed a defenseless population.

Indeed there is no justification for the horror that has been meted out by some members of one population to the hundreds of innocents from another population on October 7th 2023. And by that logic, also no justification for the horror that has been meted out by some members of the second population to even more hundreds of innocents from the first population ever since.
Demonizing and blaming only one population in this conflict, defies all reason. Taking up one particular side of the "they started it, not me" game of justification is endless and unedifying. Yet, as we can see, it does provide a convenient opportunity to advertise to the world one's admirable abundance of outrage-fueled virtue.

One "error" is the the statement " 1917 Britain.. conquers Palestine ", is so wrong in many ways.
The 1916 - 1918 War (aka WW1) was not only fought in Europe but across the sands of the Sinai, up thru Palestine into Syria - Britain, Australia, New Zealand, India ( a Combined Army under British Command) - were fighting the the Armies of the Turkish Empire. This was a defensive action to stop the Turks taking the Suez Canal, as Egypt (then) did not have a substantive army.
The combined armies (as mentioned) faced an ongoing threat from the Bedouin people - the main problem was committing atrocities against dead soldiers of the Combine Army.
My reference data shows that the citizens living in the areas we know as Gaza, Israel, Lebanon & Syria - welcomed these troops as liberators from a tyrannical enemy - Yes the Turks had demonstrated, that they were not tolerant toward the citizens of those lands.
Now of recent times can you explain why -
1.- Leaders of Arab Nations - Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, plus Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, have stated since 7th October 2023, that they will NOT take any Palestinian Citizen into their Countries, a statement "reiterated " when Donald Trump suggested they "should".
2.- Egypt had a Border wall, recently re-built on their Sinai Border with Gaza? And also why they maintain a large military force in this location.
3.- Israel "rounded up" all Jewish Settlers in Gaza (late 2000) and forced them into Israel as it had been arranged that, then Gaza, was to become " a self Governing State " and hold elections. It is well recorded what happened at that point.
This had the UN "fingers" all over this action/activity.
4.- The PLO & Hamas Leadership, live in style in Qatar?
And you will need to explain your vitriol to all people of Israel over other parts of your commentary.
I will re-iterate - that our MSM (NZ) does not tell the truth of the Gaza conflict - and I am sure that many New Zealander's who use YouTube will see & hear from multi sources what is actually going on their - and why Hamas "DO NOT want a ceasefire".

As much as anything this is a propaganda war , and terrorist , barbarous Hamas seems to be very successful at this .
