Prediction: with the incremental " by stealth" approach and without a referendum on equal citizenship ( studiously avoided by Luxon/National), He Puapua will be installed by 2040. People will be distracted by its " co-operative strategy " and forget that often a full veto (aka prior consent ) by Maori only is already in place in numerous instances..
Since tribal rule is the ultimate goal, this final step will be made more formal and irreversible through the written constitution based on partnership and non-cession of (so-called) Maori sovereignty. So, mission accomplished.

I used to think that there should be more marae, especially urban marae, to support all Maori who wanted to maintain their cultural links. Now I think they should be destroyed and Maori promised they will have a new cultural home called Aoteawhatrot. They can't have their Maori heritage and destroy the country we all built together. While we witness the destruction of our economy, lifestyle and culture by a few elite Maori we should also see Maori culture undermined. No more pretending we are all Maori.
