The big gay out, OMG!
Have a look at the “costumes” of some of the attendees. The “MC” shouts to the audience, “The ACT Party and NZ First are not attending.”

I wonder why? I bet they were glad they weren’t! Didn’t Luxon turn out last year?
Chloe tells the audience “There is a lot of righteous anger here!”
But what about those Labour and Green polies? Will you ever seen a more illustrative example of self serving, opportunistic and ingratiatory vote catching? These are members of political parties that are expecting to lead our country???
You have to wonder why a large group of the LBGTQ+++ members in the crowd were very vocal and very loud with their “Get them off the stage” chant directed at the MP’s with one even storming the stage.
I would like to think those members of the crowd were in the same mind as myself and saw this mixing and mingling with an often marginalised, sexual minority of society as unprincipled, mercenary and venal vote chasing? Alas no.
A sub set of angry LBGTQsters were condemning the “…right-wing transphobic, racist and Genocide enabling politicians…” They were protesting the governments “ban on puberty blockers for trans youth, barriers for trans people to take part in community sport, moves to remove gender and sexuality teaching from schools, and disestablishing the Māori Health Authority as their main grievances.”
National’s associate Minister of Health Matt Doocey was the target of their distorted wrath.
Openly gay MP’s such as Swarbrick and Shannan Halbert have every right to campaign amongst their fellow travellers but the rest….demeaning and patronising?
“Look around you, this is our power, this is our pride, this is how we will transform our country into what we deserve!” Screeched Chloe. I was surprised she didn’t break into her rendition of Snaps 1990 hit I’VE GOT THE POWER!
These are the voters Labour and the Greens are courting! These are the voters who will be influencing the government if we get a Labour/Greens/Maori Party post Novembers election.
Don’t forget, this video doesn’t include any Maori party antics. Add that into this video and it’s no stretch of the imagination to see these behaviours surfacing in the debating chamber!
And the final twist in the tail of this Big Gay Out chaotic schemozzle; It is organised by the Burnett Foundation, previously the New Zealand AIDS Foundation, so they are funded by the taxpayer!
The Burnett Foundation state they are “partly” funded by the taxpayer. In the 2025 year Health New Zealand put their hand in their pocket handing over more than $5.6 million dollars in funding. That is one hell of a chunk of “partly”!
And yes they are former employers of ex Green MP Benjamin Doyle of “Biblebeltbussy” infamy!
By god we live in a very cockeyed world!
Some of the comments on the youtube site are quite humorous –
“Where ever the greens are, sane people are somewhere else.”
“Pharmac needs a funding boost , there seems to be some seriously under medicated people out there.”
“So hands up all those who want these people ruling our country – oh dear, that’s worrying.”
“Omg I knew I shouldn’t have watched it but I did. It’s a bit like sticking your tongue on a 9 volt battery. You know it’s gunna shock but you do it anyway.”
Have a look if you are brave enough – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGNqWJUkQuk
