Nothing really new, the British created a documentary series on it four decades ago. 'Yes Minister' and 'Yes Prime Minister'. Did we really think we were immune?
But we do need to change the way we operate, for those high paying Head of Dept public service jobs should be able to be determined and without golden parachutes. You want the big bucks - you take the risks, do what's asked of you, and ultimately be truly accountable.
