Tame's treaty tricks and other bollocks
Just released: the latest episode of Andy Oakley Investigates.
Once again, our state-funded broadcaster TVNZ is in the spotlight — and not in a good way. In this short video, I break down the latest example of the racism they continue to platform and promote.
The things that tame and television New Zealand got wrong.
- In 1960s the government was smaller [snorts] than the 2020s.
- 1960s government spent less in welfare per GDP.
- The 1960s government promoted home ownership.
- 1960s government tax less or the same as the current government.
- Poor performance of television New Zealand is due to bias and lies not Facebook or Google.
- And forces racism, Maori are not a race and are not mentioned in the Treaty of Waitangi.
