Trying to find out, from those trudging along the Auckland waterfront under the snarled-up Harbour Bridge, what exactly what their gripe is was met with a frowning, blank stare or a cold shoulder. . .
One of the things it is about is the separatist grievance industry which is where the Maori Party garners most of its support.
That explains their behaviour in parliament yesterday when they were playing to the separatist gallery with their words, and their haka.
This is likely to sway support towards the Bill from more people than attract more opponents.
So too will the letter from senior lawyers asking for the Bill to be abandoned.

Agree completely with Ele. Seymour’s bill is lifting the lid on racist extremism and deep-seated division. That some, including msm media, suggest he is creating the division is gas-lighting (in my view).
Anyone arguing against his bill is making an argument against racial equality, against Martin Luther Kings dream.
If our MSM was honest they’d frame it this way.
The racists are worried their racial privilege is about to be lessened, hence the hekoi & all the crying

Who are the 42 “senior lawyers”?
Usually, with an open letter to the PM, there’s a proudly-published list of names.
This time — nothing. No-where in any media coverage of this “letter” are there any names.
Could it be that the 42 Kings Counsel have massive conflicts of interest they would rather us not be aware of — like a client list of iwi and other Maori bodies they represent (at taxpayer expense) before the likes of the Waitangi Tribunal?
Do we have to OIA this list of names from the PM’s office? (because obviously MSM don’t see a need to pull this thread).
It is embarrassing to note that there is no actual logic to the hikoi - the participants reveal themselves as uninformed - really ignorant - and therefore somewhat pathetic morons. As the descendant of immigrants from Scotland, following the clearances of the 1860s, I am indigenous nowhere. I feel no guilt at all to be descended from good hard-working people who settled where there were no other inhabitants. New Zealanders like me are facilitating the current stupidity of simple-minded (part) Maori people, wringing their hands as if all Maori failure were our fault. It is not! Allow them the dignity of responsibility for their own lives.

Again we read an excellent article, support so far my concurring comments.
My offering -
[1] - we have seen the rise of the word "racism" in NZ and from "where I sit, it is verbally expressed more by Maori, than Pakeha". Those reading the opening statement,
[2] - how many times do you hear the word "racism" used when - Maori gather in numbers -
- or Pakeha when they gather in mumbers?
[3] - How many times, via NZ TV News are we "asked to sit and watch Maoridom in full flight, with Haka (which can have the most politically divisive language incorporated during the haka), and the spoken word to Maori TV Reporters, again divisive"-
do we see the same with Pakeha?
So who, in NZ is presenting a more racist face ?
The longer the current Govt show, demonstrate, verbalize a woke approach to matters of importance to NZ - the quicker the Public, when in the Polling Booth on election day will cast them aside - and when you read posted comments following any article on this website - you get the sense that people can not wait for another General Election.
The French have demonstrated how to remove Governments.
Can you blame the judges, lawyers and public servants? It is a position our parlimentarians have forced on them over the past decades due to their own cowardic. Scared of possibly losing some votes, our elected representatives have abdicated the responsibilities they are paid to for. Only once in the last 40+ years has their been any semblance of taking their job seriously, that being Helen Clark over the foreshore claim.
So why are we surprised when those that have spent almost half a century making decisions push back when this power may be taken from them.
