Matua Kahurangi: Tamaki Makaurau proves over 6,000 retards still have voting rights

Please forgive me in advance, it’s just after midnight and I’m probably at least 15 pints deep by now. I just got back from the pub.

The All Blacks gave New Zealand something to celebrate. So did the resignation of Bussy. Unfortunately, Tamaki Makaurau gave us the exact opposite - a reminder that there are at least 6,031 retards living in that electorate who somehow still get to vote.

Oriini Kaipara is not a serious politician. She is not a leader. She is not even remotely competent. She is, at best, a former newsreader who thinks tribal slogans can be swapped in for policy, and who once literally had to try pull out her phone in the middle of questioning to figure out what Te Pārtly Māori were repelling.

Peeni Henare – for all his faults and for all my dislike and genuine hate of Labour – has experience. He knows how Parliament work and compared to Kaipara, he looks like Churchill. In this clown-show of an electorate, Henare scraped just over 3,000 votes, while Kaipara lapped him with 6,031.

This isn’t just “oh well, people made a different choice.” No, this is people actively voting for incompetence over competence. They chose spectacle over substance, tribal supremacy over practical politics, and delusion over reality.

Kaipara has all the stability of a waka crashing into the rocks. Her political career, if you can even call it that, is destined to be an ongoing grift to the grave. Excuse my language, I’m drunk but 6000+ retards lined up to hand her legitimacy. Why? Probably because those who voted for her probably have some intellectual issues going on.

This is the ugly proof that electorates can be swayed not by logic, not by track record, not by competence, but by blind tribalism and the collective brain-melt of people who should honestly never be trusted with a ballot paper again.

Tamaki Makaurau has embarrassed itself. It has dragged politics to a new low. It has made the rest of New Zealand sit back and ask how the hell did we get to a point where the waka wreck of New Zealand politics can beat someone with experience.

The answer is as simple as it is depressing, because 6,031 retards put her there.

Matua Kahurangi is just a bloke sharing thoughts on New Zealand and the world beyond. No fluff, just honest takes. He blogs on https://matuakahurangi.com/ where this article was sourced.

I have no idea what the voters voted for. Perhaps Henare should get Tatts all over his body. No need for any skill or experience. Then again people vote for the Greens and take a look at that lineup

"How did we get to this point?" It's because we have fearful people in our midst.
The media has much say in the outcome of an election. Overseas they at least have alternative mainstream media like GB News, Fox and Sky. These at least provide perspective. Quite a few of our elected people are fearful of the media.
The police seem to be following quite restrictive orders in western countries. Arresting people for alternative views. That's all they are on analysis. Alternative views.
Commonsense has gone out the window. Who actually believes 600 undocumented, illegal immigrants arriving each day in Britain won't end in disaster? Poland are taking no immigrants. The Polish people are happy. The streets are spotless and the Polish identity is intact.
Maorification won't help anybody. The rich will still be rich and the poor, poor.

Same thing may happen in the 2026 election. Sadly sometimes people have to learn the hard way. What labour x 3 will do to nz if elected in 2026, will make ardern's regime look mild.

And the purpose of this seat and the cost of hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars is what ?

Another good reason, as if we need anymore, to dump the blatantly anti democratic, racist Māori seat grift.
The only positive, coming from this demonstration of collective stupidity is that the MSM will add it's spin and leave reasonably intelligent people in no doubt, just exactly where we're at.

And - The People of NZ, sit and watch (TV) listen to the radio (RNZ) read a newspaper (the choice is yours) and we have a 'person' associated with Cruise Liner visits to NZ saying - "We seem to be loosing customers from this source" - well me thinks that the PR people of said shipping domain have looked/ still look at NZ and must say unto themselves and other like minded
people in that industry - " Visit NZ, you must be joking"!
You work out why I said that!
Oh, sorry our PM is "inviting" monied people to come and build homes here - that will solve the "cash crisis".
All the while Foodstuffs move forward and Carter Holt - cancel jobs.
In the meantime the All Blacks readied themselves for the next gladiatorial combat.

It’s a shame that on this forum you’re clearly preaching to the converted - why don’t they publish your views in the Māori news or legacy media or in this case - why is peeni not championing your cause as he was ultimate the biggest loser in this shamozzle
