Hang on, isn’t New Zealand absolutely awash in immigrants and the descendants of immigrants? I fail to understand why some kiwi immigrants are complaining about people immigrating to New Zealand. Maybe it’s because some immigrants are failing to adapt to our beautiful and unique culture, but in actuality every time a new group arrives it adds a touch of wonder to the pot.
Look at the European migrants, for example. I disagree with many of their cultural practices, but there is some good in what they do, amongst the bad.
We just don’t want to get overrun with Europeans or it could cause issues and we will lose traces of our original identify.
Anon 4.24. Unfortunately this unrealistic Pollyanna vision of the situation does not help find practical solutions.
We need more uber drivers, barbers and dairy owners! All jobs too challenging for native born Kiwis!
Anon 1115, I only saw blame and fear in the video clip.
Ptogressivism is the culprit , especially in education where our children are discouraged in acquiring a work ethic . Instead schooling is to be fun and even entertaining , self -directed and soft and unchallenging.
Hence we have to bring in Asians , who value education and work ethic since without acquiring that you end up on the rubbish tip scavenging.
NZ will never be the same again - the same as what?
