Reflecting on another festive season and year gone by, I thought it would be nice to revive that good old yuletide classic - the 12 Days of Christmas - and give it a make-over to represent all the woke stuff so common in New Zealand life these days.
Unsurprisingly, I was spoilt for choice, with a plethora of PC paraphernalia and social justice crusaders to fill my 12 days. These are the ones that made the cut.

Thank you Derek, for injecting some humour into the frightening direction our country (New Zealand NOT Aotearoa), seems to be heading in.
Well done. I guess you had to narrow the list down to only twelve to make the song work.
If you do another one next year, you may not be allowed to publish it.
It is so sad that wry critcal humour, once so much a part of the presidng culture, is now only available outside of the msm. The ditty has endless possibilities; Waitangi Tribunal rulings etc etc
Well spoken Derek !!
You got it right !!
