At last count it would appear Donald Trump has the Republican nomination sewn up and any attempts to derail his challenge (such as being locked up for unproven misdemeanours) will fail.
On the Democrat side, it would be a brave man who is
confident Joe Biden will again be the Party’s nominee. I say that simply
because, in the time between now and the election, anything is possible that
could lead to some other candidate being given the nod especially given the
Biden family skeletons that will no longer remain hidden in the closet like
last time or a demonstrably failing President may decide himself (or be
encouraged) to vacate the Whitehouse premises.
So, what are we to make of a contest that, up until now,
seemed to be heading for a result that would leave the country divided right
down the middle. Any talk for an overwhelming victory for either candidate
would be just so much wishful thinking.
However, this race has just been reinvigorated by the
entry of one Robert Kennedy Jr as an Independent candidate.
This guy, whether you love or hate him has the real
ability to siphon off all those dissatisfied voters who are reluctant to vote
either Democrat or Republican.
In normal course of events, we might expect these voters
(many Hispanic descendants of immigrant families or Southern Blacks amongst
them) who traditionally vote Democrat but won’t this time because of the Biden
administration’s failure to secure the border allowing millions of illegal
immigrants to threaten their jobs.
And believe me that monumental failure is likely to
become one of the major determinants of this up coming election both in the
Presidential race and in the congressional contests as well .
Robert Kennedy Jr is not just some ordinary candidate. He
is a high profile member of the Kennedy family dynasty. His father was Jack
Kennedy’s brother and close confidant during the glory days of Camelot before
they were both subsequently assassinated - one as the sitting US President and
the other as the Democratic nominee in the election to follow Lyndon Johnson’s
controversial time in office.
But his main appeal is that he is not either Biden or
Trump although his candidacy is more likely to hurt the Democrat nominee rather
than Trump even if the Donald is watching proceedings from behind bars.
Also the difference between the two main party candidates
this time is that the Trump supporters are lock solid behind their man so we
can expect little impact on the Republican numbers from the Kennedy entry but
his involvement will be giving the Democrat Party nightmares as it tries to
sort out who has the best chance of representing them in a battle for the
hearts and souls of all Americans.
No one can tell what will happen in the next few months
but Kennedy’s surprising candidacy may well be the game changer many people are
waiting and hoping for.

Donald Trump misdemeanors ??? What planet are you living on. They may be unproven [we will wait for the courts to decide] but he has been indicted with serious felonies.
Yes they are unproven but given the biased nature of the Court proceedings to date, they are likely to get him convicted on at least one of the charges, although that won’t be able to stop him from becoming the Republican nominee if he decides to contest the election in that capacity.
Hopefully enough Americans will be affronted by this witch hunt to ensure Trump regains the Presidency with the votes he needs without the Robert Kennedy Jr factor influencing the result.
We’ll see.
Clive - Simon Cohen "should stop listening to Anna Burns - Frances (maiden name) who was TVNZ reporter from New York City, and was an unashamed lady with a political bias toward s Donald Trump/ this showed in many of her TV reporting from NYC/US - especially when reporting on Trump".
Also for Mr Cohen, it is widely accepted in America, by supportive MSM, Conservative Media & the "majority of American Citizens", that the current "show trials for spurious felonies" are Politically motivated by The Democrat Party/ especially those ho hold High Office? (at Joe Biden's direction -it pays to have support for a hidden agenda)- as well as those who financially support that Party, to derail DJT and his 'travels back to the White House'.
From reviews/interviews/ on-line chatter - that many American Citizens have been disenchanted with the current President from day 1. The reasons are multiple - one (yes) being the uncontrolled migration/ which is interesting that many are coming from Arabic & African Countries (who or how did they pay to get to Mexico) - employment / cost of living plus others.
Mr Cohen, the "current preliminary court appearance's by DJT" are merely to distract the Trump, place inconvenient truths in front of the Public, cause disruption to the Trump Campaign Trail.
Oh, Mr Cohen - just for you - Donald Trump did more for the City of New York than any of the currently elected Congressmen/women and/or Senators - all are Democrats, and one "loathes Trump for such an action" rather than applauding him for what he did - speaks volumes - oh the above is not conspiracy theory, that is FACT.
Good question Simon Cohen. What planet is Clive Bibby on? When it comes to America politics it certainly isn’t this one. A week doesn’t go by when there are more indictments against Trump. No ex-president in U S history has conducted himself in this way, and the chances of Trump spending time in prison look rather likely. To dismiss this merely as a “witch hunt” is a slander on the U S justice system.
Robert Kennedy has only just announced his candidacy as an independent, and it’s far too early to predict his influence, if any, on the 2024 election. Kennedy’s candidacy is causing resentment in Democrat circles (his siblings have condemned it), and it may well be he gets more gets votes from Republicans that can’t bring themselves to vote for the despicable Trump, than he will get from Democrats. Clive says that “Trump supporters are lock solid behind their man”, which maybe so, but this MAGA mob is not the Republican Party, many of whom will never vote for Trump, understandably, and don’t wish to vote for a Democrat. Maybe they will choose Kennedy.
The American voting population can see beyond the corrupt MSM and the swamp’s vile manipulations by heavily favouring Trump over his rivals. His popularity is driving the liberals out of their tiny minds. “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” is the order of the day as they protect the criminal Biden family. I take my hat off to Trump’s strength and resilience, to hold his ground facing down the Marxist revolution. I see so many common parallels in this country.
It is interesting reading the opinions of people who are so far down the conspiracy rabbit hole.
Two of the judges presiding over Trump's trials were appointed by him.
And in two of the other trials the cases have yet to be decided.
But all of the indictments brought against Trump have been by Grand Juries so its difficult to see how they are influenced by Biden or the Democrats. And if the majority of the American voting population are for Trump why are these grand juries bringing unanimous indictments.
I see my normal stalker is up to his usual tricks, denying reality
The facts are that Donald Trump has, like no other before or since, taken control of the Republican Party and made it his own. I agree those fellow Republicans who dislike him intensely, will most likely vote for Kennedy but they are mainly the small rump of gnomes still occupying their seats in Congress who are part of the Swamp Trump is in the process of removing. People like Romney, Cheney Mitch McConnel and Co are remnants of the past and will not be influential in the outcome of this next election.
The average conservative voter will not be cheated out of another victory this time even if their leader Is watching the proceedings from behind bars.
The Biden regime betrayals will be exposed and the voters will respond accordingly. The truth will out.
Who’s ‘stalking’ you Clive? You have your say, which is your right, but you are not immune from critical response. A considered response by someone willing to identify themselves is open engagement, the very antithesis of ‘stalking’. Your reaction to criticism rings of self-pity. You bill yourself as a ‘commentator’, but if you dish it out you’ve got to be prepared to take it.
Gentlemen, I let these two comments through but please do restrict yourselves to facts and rational debate, forget about the ad hominem side-swipes.
