On average, around 20% of New Zealanders think [part-] Maori should have special privileges. Around 80% do not. This, of course, includes many New Zealanders of Maori descent.
But it is the 20% that have captured the public debate, with their false narrative of “victimhood” and “oppression,” their lying revisionist version of “history,” and their mob shouting down all opposition, no matter how reasoned and principled, as “racist” and “bigoted.”
Most of the 80% who privately disagree with Maori privilege won’t say so publicly, since all the noise in the public square leads them to believe a majority agrees with Maori privilege. They’re cowed into silence by fear of social marginalisation for not holding group-approved attitudes.
But they’re not alone. They’re a substantial majority, though they have yet to realise it. Some of us have been doing this a long time. We will help the silent majority to see that people are prepared to stand up and be counted. We will not be silenced, and we will eventually win the day.

In social psychology, “pluralistic ignorance” describes a situation where a majority of group members privately reject a received norm, but wrongly assume it is widely held, and pretend conformity so as not to appear out of step with everyone else.
Most people, whatever their level of intelligence, want to hold “correct” beliefs and attitudes. Their overriding drive is to belong and conform. To do so, many will internalise received dogma without applying intellectual scrutiny to it.
Hans Christian Andersen’s story of The Emperor’s New Clothes warns us against buying into group-think for social approval.
A vain Emperor who cares only for appearances hires two swindlers who promise to make him the world’s finest suit of clothes cut from a cloth invisible to anyone who is stupid or unfit for his position.
The fraudsters pretend to weave the fabric to make the suit. Invited to admire the cloth as it is being woven, the Emperor’s ministers can see nothing, but pretend to see looms full of beautiful fabric taking shape for fear of appearing unfit for their positions. On his own inspection visit, the Emperor does the same.
Finally, the swindlers announce that the suit is finished. They pretend to dress the Emperor in it and he marches before his subjects at the head of a grand procession. Behind him, his courtiers pretend to be holding up the train of a non-existent cloak, so as not to be seen by others as unfit for their positions.
Not wanting to appear stupid, the townsfolk also play along with the pretence. Then a child in the crowd, too young to understand the need for the charade, loudly blurts out the Emperor has nothing on.
Others take up the cry, until everyone is saying the same thing. The Emperor cringes, suspecting the crowd is right, but continues to pretend otherwise because backing down would be to own up to his own stupidity.
Our day will come, and those who would marginalise the majority will be bashed back to the mediocrity and opprobrium they deserve. These ethnocentric haters and wreckers (and their West-hating Socialist traitor enablers) are filth on the face of our country."

You didn't mention the academics who kowtow to this indoctrination, fearful of losing their jobs, Kia ora and nga mihi everyone, attend meetings and join in the karakia nonsense.

If our day is coming, we had better hurry up to accelerate its arrival......due to the biased media, our voice is silenced. This damage is very powerful and fuels the intentions of the minority.
Worst of all, it could continue after a new government is elected. No party seems to have a clear plan to de-bias the msm - or better still, to replace this.
This process to promote Maori privilege is so far advanced no that - very sadly - it is very hard to imagine a reversal without civil unrest.

On the auckland trains commuters are forced to listen to endless announcements in te reo which maybe 1 person out of the thousands using the trains would understand. It is very like north korea where nothing is real. Tourists must assume that it is a very common language here. How embarrassing to tell them that hardly anyone speaks it. You cannot force people to learn a language. Where is the world has this ever worked before? Unless they ban english, how will they force it?

It's all very well pointing fingers at everyone for doing nothing but we have well and truly been gaslit. And this has happened over the last 50 years starting with the treaty settlements. It was called the Maori gravy train then and still is. Since Mahuta the looter has been on the scene it has become glaringly obvious, also Willie can't help himself but to promote it.
We have a real battle coming if not a war. Propaganda is a weapon of war and we need to disarm the media.
But don't blame us, the traitors are/were in Parliament.

Tthe percentages would be much more overwhelming if the msm had presented the topics objectively over the last few decades and allowed rational discussion and comment. The maori control threat is still not widely grasped. Ordinary maori are noted for indifference to many things. Not so long ago Willie conceded that (depite the endless specific pandering to maori) few of his associates listened to RNZ.I do not know how the polls were conducted but the fear of exposure and cancellation is deep seated and likley influences even supposedly confidentail polls.

The problem is ignorance & apathy & violence is most certainly is not the answer & not necessary, when boycotts are way more effective. The West is marching lockstep into totalitarianism. On the one hand, we have ideologies forced onto us that many if not most of us disagree with & on the other hand, the voice of dissent is being crushed as any opposing views or open debate, no matter how logical or factual, is being crushed & yet it is demanded of us that we pay & keep on paying. Taxation is theft & taxation without representation is outright, blatant extortion.

I suggest you go online to the Albert Einstein Institute, download ALL of Gene Sharps ebooks & educate yourself. Sure, eventually the people would win a Civil War given that there are only around 12,500 frontline Police officers & a similar amount of NZDF personnel (most of whom would not raise arms against their own countrymen), but at what cost ? Given the evidence provided by the recent protests, it is obvious that Kiwis are bi partisan in supporting their own agendas & the country would devolve further into chaos, with the racial divide increasing & the inevitable civilian casualties. The problem is systemic & needs to be abandoned. IMHO NZ needs to dissolve the Westminster style of parliament & our ties to the Commonwealth & UN & form a Constitutional Republic based on a codified Constitution that is arrived at through Referendum & Consensus. This needs to be supported by a new Bill of Rights that not only clearly defines & limits govt authority (executive & legislature), but defends our inalienable rights to property, privacy, self defence, pursuit of happiness & financial independence, travel, right of assembly & the ability medicate, pray, associate, work & play how WE see fit & not a bunch of woke, numpty puppets in Wellington. This obviously needs to be supported by a Judiciary & Police force that upholds Rule of Law & not the dictates of the previously mentioned parasites in Wellington, who force all manner of rules & regulations on us but provide very little justice.
To this end, the "silent majority" need to wake up & stop supporting this nonsense financially, either by direct boycotts (taxes, fees, tariffs etc) & creating an alternative economy that relies on cash/barter (farmers markets/work co-ops etc).
The power has always been in our hands, we have just become to ignorant, fearful or apathetic to exercise it...
