Tut, tut. Not good enough, Chris. Hell, even Hipkins is doing better than you. Let’s have a look at him. The same poll puts his approval rating at 25 per cent, with a disapproval rating of 40 per cent, giving him a net approval of minus 15 per cent. And he’s not even prime minister anymore! People trust him more than they trust you, Chris. Ouch. Embarrassing.
Let’s get real, Chris. You can’t blame this entirely on ‘tough decisions’ or ‘inherited challenges’. Every PM inherits problems: it’s the job description. But the job also involves showing the public you have a plan – a good one – and that you’re actually making progress. And, let’s face it: a good leader is able to lead even when things are tough.
It’s time to revisit those KPIs, Chris. Or maybe, and this is just a suggestion, drop the corporate jargon and focus on the job you were elected to do: governing. Because right now, the only KPI you’re hitting is ‘falling public confidence’.

Nicola Willis has missed even more KPI's than Luxon . She even misinformed NZ about the removal of jobs from Government offices and ministeries and is spending more taxpayers sweat.
President Trump achieved more positivity in two days than NZ in a decade iust by removing US from the Paris Accord and World Health Organisation.
Come on the Coalition give NZ some positivity to look around the corner and also remove NZ from the Paris Accord shackles .
Chris is choosing to focus only on economics and that wasn’t why the swing to National/Act/NZ First happened. Race relations and laws/systems based on ethnicity should have been Chris’s first consideration.
Christopher Luxon also appears to double down at every opportunity to thumb his nose at his supporters. Those who voted for him had certain expectations. They required a change of direction from all the racist nonsense the long suffering New Zealanders are forced to endure. Some of us could see he was not the "right man at the right time." From observation, I suspect he would hold pretty firm views which would be hard to change. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a suitable replacement in the National party. How can a democratically elected PM refuse a referendum on the Treaty Principles Bill? It's democracy that delivered him the PM role in the first place.
You hate KPIs because you resent being told what to do.

Luxon has dragged the chain for sure. The insidious DEI woke culture nonsense is still ingrained in most government institutions. Love him or loathe him Trump sorted that crap out on day 1.
