Only the beginning of maori rule - by Unknown

Prior to European settlement, Maori squatted on land and resources until a stronger tribe invaded, killed and ate them. If their own tribe was stronger they invaded, killed and ate their neighbours. Thus Maori existed in a cycle of genocidal warfare amongst themselves and effectively owned nothing. Land and resources belonged fleetingly to whoever had the ability to seize or defend it successfully at a particular point in time.

The arrival of Europeans eventually ended this primitive, brutal way of life. Maori were treated astonishingly well by European authorities, especially for the norms of the time.

Had Europeans applied customary Maori cultural standards to the relationship, Europeans would have exterminated Maori, as Maori themselves did to the original inhabitants of New Zealand when they arrived. Instead, with incredible generosity, Europeans signed a treaty, gifting the land to the applicable Maori tribes occupying it at the time, even though, as noted, they did not truly own it or even occupy much of it. Arrangements were made to purchase land Maori cared to sell.

Maori fell over themselves to sell. European goods were an unbelievable resource for Maori, existing as they had in a subsistence, stone-age culture. Tools, clothes, buildings, farming, crops, livestock, ships, the list of resources Maori lacked but coveted was endless. Alas, the main resource many Maori desired, was muskets. Having armed themselves, Maori embarked on a 20 year inter-tribal reign of terror across the land, slaughtering their neighbours. Utu going back centuries was extracted. Maori killed and ate Maori in numbers almost unimaginable. The Maori population plunged from over 100,000 to as little as 40,000 due to these atrocities.

Surviving Maori soon discovered another method of obtaining riches. With large areas of New Zealand now further unpopulated due to inter-tribal genocide, they could sell settlers land by claiming it as theirs, then send another representative to state that the land had not belonged to the previous seller, and had to be paid for again. In this way multiple sums could be obtained for the same piece of land. Some settlers paid three times before the practice was stopped by the government. They confiscated the thrice bought land from the settlers, gave it ‘back’ to Maori, and set up the native land court, requiring all future Maori land sales to go through this body.

Some tribes delighted in repeated and sustained breaches of the treaty they’d signed, murdering settlers in their beds, men, women and children. Eventually subdued by government forces, such horrific breaches sometimes resulted in the confiscation of land as had been notified and warned. Though it’s fashionable to claim land was lost through unjust means, Maori cultural norms would have resulted in the seizure of all land and the killing, eating or enslavement of everyone found, regardless of any provocation. No more than 4.7% of New Zealand’s land was [legally] confiscated, and always for repeated and horrific treaty breaches. Again in almost unbelievable generosity, much of this land was returned once the tribe agreed to stop breaching and recommit to the treaty. Virtually all of the land Maori no longer own, was sold by them. Fact.

From the late 1800’s onwards, despite tribes having sold off much of ‘their’ land, some began to grumble about this loss. Various governments signed ‘full and final’ settlements with many of them in an effort of appeasement. Some tribes have now had up to five ‘full and final settlements’. No other person or race has ever been able to gain taxpayer money for land sold previously, much less five times and for sales dating back in many cases over 150 years.

From the 1960’s onwards, Marxists became influential in this grievance industry. It became fashionable to portray ‘native’ people as ‘exploited’ and ‘marginalised’ to sow dissension, division and weaken democracy. In this they have been stunningly successful, infiltrating government, judiciary and educational institutions. The mechanism to achieve this in reality, was PM Palmer’s re-writing of the ToW in the late 1980’s. This legislation turned the treaty into something it had never been and opened a pandora’s box of racism, ushering in a never-ending rort of citizen and taxpayer assets, resources and money by Maori. Palmer immediately left parliament and made millions by advising Maori how to use his legislation to fleece other citizens.

Four decades later, 85% of the population are reduced to serfs, slaves to the Maori elite. Entire industries and sectors of resources have been taken from universal ownership and gifted to the part-descendants of people who sold them as long as 200 years ago. Those of part-Maori ethnicity have superior rights and abilities in almost every area of life and society. A false, invented version of history and fake ‘culture’ permeates the country, elevating the stone-age, brutal, pagan roots of Maori to a fraudulent, cultish status. Subservience to this is the only acceptable attitude.

While many Maori believe this is only the beginning of their rule, this horribly unhealthy situation cannot continue. There has never been a successful society based on such an undemocratic, racist foundation. History suggests the correction will be filled with conflict and trauma for everyone. Fact.
