Tamihere made the remark on Martyn Bradbury’s The Bradbury Group podcast this week. He said the Government had a “bully-boy mentality”, and said academics suggesting alternative economic opinions were “beat up”.
“This is worse than Nazi Germany, this is a fascist regime that has to be removed,” Tamihere said.
This is again not some random anonymous troll on the Internet. This is the party president of a parliamentary party saying that the government that got elected by a majority of voters is a fascist regime that is worse than a regime that murdered six million of its own citizens.
This shows again that Te Pati Maori is unfit for office. It is inevitable that repeated rhetoric like this from senior politicians will lead to violence. I mean if you actually did think the government was worse than Nazi Germany, then violence would be absolutely justified.

Their honesty, credibility and reputation is so far in the sewer due to their far left racist radical views that they are unworthy of support. I now actually feel gang members hold a higher level of status than the msm.

Well said, David. It astounds me that people actually vote for Te Pati Maori when they seem to have no cohesive policy, just continual grievance.
The simple fact is that Te Pāti Māori are the most openly racist and divisive party in New Zealand politics.
What's the bet Tamihere doesn't even know what the contraction 'nazi' stands for and wouldn't be able to pass a test on 1930s Germany if you allowed him to sit it half a dozen times and added all his marks together.
Tamihere wants false Maori pre contact history indoctrinated into every NZ school child, and yet he fails to read and understand the undeniable German history 1920 -1945 ?
Is the only bit that Tamihere got was the part that Goebbels and his propaganda techniques used to perpetrated the worst war in history ?

The maori party actially do have policies listed on their public website for all to see. My favourite policies are; abolish all prisons, change NZ's name to aotearoa, remunerate all schools based on their competency of te reo, establish a maori parliament, remove the british royals as head of state, return all land to maori and first right of refusal on all private land and homes. These are jist a few. Quite similar to the green-hamas party
