Because In 2017, there were 48,000 public servants. Ardern, Chippy and Robbo managed to fill any empty government offices and got that number up to 63,000 in 2023!

In July this year STUFF reported full-time public servants had increased by 121 people following the 2023 election???
Any improvement in the financial mire the country finds itself in is, despite the “We’re working hard…” line, is becoming increasingly difficult to find!
Chris also told Hosking in the interview – “There’s only two numbers I reckon that New Zealanders need to understand, the 80% increase in government spending and the $100 billion worth of debt and we’ve got nothing to show for it, nothing!”
Well, how are these for numbers Chris – government debt has exploded to $182.2 billion for the year ending June 2025! That is $6.7 billion higher than 2024!
When elected, the coalition government said it would get the books back into surplus mid-way through 2027. At its first Budget last year, that deadline had been pushed out to 2028.
Pretty easy to see why you are unable to beat Chippy in the leadership polls Chris!
When National, ACT and New Zealand First announced they had formed a government post the 2023 election, they promised they would uphold democracy, equality, and put an end to race-based rights and privilege.
There are one hell of a lot of New Zealanders feeling very let down at the moment. Probably even to the extent of feeling disenfranchised!
Like a good corporate leader he is, Chris recently released his 4th quarter plan. The last of this years quarterly plans.
Chris’ latest plan will have done little to ease voters concerns.
You know Chris, with a few bold moves you could have the majority of your detractors, while not eating out of your hand, certainly thinking blue rather than pink or black!
To many other New Zealanders the total absence of any strategy to tackle the continuing erosion of democracy and the rapidly expanding influence and authority being bestowed on Maori is still of enormous concern!
True, there was nothing in that latest quarterly plan that specifically mentioned or allocated preference to Maori. But we all know those undertakings are usually finalised behind closed doors!
In the 2025 budget, government proudly extolled it had allocated over $700 million in funding for Māori.
It is absolutely no surprise that Labour’s Willie Jackson said the government “…should hang its head in shame”. He claimed more than $1bn had been stripped from Māori-specific initiatives across the last two budgets.
About the 2024 budget John Tamahere had this to say -“For Māori this budget will have no sweeteners because nothing has changed. We will witness the same thing we have done with past budget’s; 98 per cent of the money will go to Pākehā delivery mechanisms. When they fail, we cop the blame. Winning the treasury benches ensures that you get to calibrate the money to your side of town so your people benefit.”
And what about this tripe – “The argument that Peters and Seymour regurgitate abouthow funding to Māori is separatist, actually runs into the converse argument that all of our money has been separated from us in the first place and goes to non-Māori. What form of separatism is that?? It’s called racism.”
Tamahere claiming Maori money has been separated from them and it is racism! That’s what I would call a dichotomy John!
It is this separate Maori funding that many New Zealanders are questioning in these straightened times and why we continue to allocate large amounts of government funds, specifically to one ethnic group?
Why is there Maori specific funding?
Is this Maori specific funding simply appeasement?
Is this government “upholding our treaty obligations” or is that just the convenient excuse?
Has not “upholding our treaty obligations” become the political disguise for ethnic grift?
What actually differentiates Maori to the extent they are treated differently to any other ethnicity in New Zealand?
Why do governments continue to identify through legislation and in budgets, purported inadequacies in the way Maori are treated?
Is there an inherent weakness in Maori that requires financial compensation?
Why do successive governments explicitly believe targeted support for Māori aspirations must be one of its top priorities as was mentioned in the Auditor General’s report of 2023?

- The Māori Development Fund, in the 2025 budget, allocated over $40 million with investment priorities for 2025/’26 of –
increased Māori export revenues.
- Mātauranga Māori Marae Ora is a $20 million contestable fund that supports marae communities directly with projects that protect and revitalise mātauranga and taonga on marae.
- He Ara Whakahihiko – a new, $9 million consolidated fund designed to unlock the economic potential of Māori-led research and innovation.
- Whai Kāinga Whai Oranga – a four-year, $730 million commitment to speed up the delivery of Māori-led housing
“Increased Māori export revenues”???
“Unlock the economic potential of Māori-led research and innovation”???
Does all this selective government support demonstrate they believe Maori are victims of colonisation and Maori have been subjugated by colonisation, or Maori business acumen is so poor Maori businesses require support that the general public’s businesses do not, or even Maori are unable to endure without specific funding?
Financially, the country is staggering on the ropes yet clowns like Jackson and Tamahere clamour for a bigger share of the public purse.
But what is worse Chris, you are more than happy to accede to the discriminatory demands of Maori leaders and you are more than happy to promote their division, promote their separatism!
Why would one willingly and knowingly promote division and separatism Chris?
New Zealand is in desperate need of a leader who rejects ethnic favouritism!

We know we are stuck with you Chris but what you are clearly not understanding is that our patience is now wafer thin. You are leaking support daily and it is not difficult to envisage National, in less than ten years, becoming the second or even the third ranked centre right party!
And that will be entirely on your head Chris!
Chris, Labour, Greens and the Maori Party are handing you the 2026 election on a plate, yet you continue to drop that plate!
A friend, Spencer Baily, believes it is quite simple to win the next election and has made these suggestions on how to, immediately, enhance your election probabilities Chris – “Give consideration to the development of policies which identify us as one nation, one people with everyone treated the same and given the same opportunities if they choose to pursue them.”
“Another issue which is of concern is the renaming (or worse, double-naming as in Aotearoa/New Zealand) of our country, islands, cities and government departments”.
Spencer also drew up a list of suggestions which he feels warrant your consideration –
- Remove Treaty of Waitangi provisions from our statutes (i.e. remove racism).
- Ensure that no provisions for co-governance are introduced.
- Hold a referendum on the need for Maori seats in parliament.
- Hold a referendum on the names of our country, islands and cities.
- Remove all provisions that require public servants to learn Te Reo.
- Enforce payment of rates on Maori land so that they share the cost of the facilities that councils provide for all land owners.
- Review the charitable status for Maori trusts and organisations.
- Change the corporate tax rate for Maori trusts and incorporations from 17.5% to 33%, the same as all other businesses.
That time is drawing ever nearer!
It will be a time you finally need to be honest with the country!
It will be a time for you to make a decision on how future New Zealand will look!
It will be the time for you to choose sides!
So Chris, what will you choose; DEMOCRACY or ETHNOCRACY?

Enough of the Maori bashing.
Luxon has stopped the Labour Hierarchy's Maori tax money laundering schemes. Luxons government has stopped: tens of millions gifted to the Maori King family by Ardern's government for no apparent reason, millions paid to the waiperara trust with inadequate controls, millions to the Maori criminal gangs so the gangs can stop the gangs' customers buying the drugs the gangs sell (yeah right).
BUT... if the government does not invest to reduce the multi generation, society ruining, Maori problems; we will all continue to suffer.
Half of our tax money spent on corrections is because of Maoris. According to figure.nz 150k Maori are on a benefit vs 190k European, as Maori only make up around 16% of the population, Maoris drain on the welfare state is many multiples larger than Europeans. And Maoris require much more health care than Europeans so....
The government would be foolish not to invest more money into Maori to improve Maoris abysmal statistics.
Although, I'm not sure how Nicola Willis gifting $48m to kapa hapa solves any of Maoris or taxpayers problems.
It appears Luxon's biggest sin is promoting a person who can't remember NOR understand numbers to finance minister.
So the real question is why is Luxon allowing Willis to :
- mysteriously gift $48 millions to kapa haka,
- actively work to dishonour Luxon's promises to reduce the illegal and obscene supermarket, banking, insurance, and energy profits by not implementing the recommendations from more time and money wasting studies into the aforementioned industries.
- push out the return to surplus whilst adding to Ardern's 15,000 extra public servants, our TAXES pay for without a hint of benefit for our increased bill.
If Luxon doesn't fix the Willis problem, he is just another Helen Clark!
Leaving the lingering suspicion Luxon hasn't audited the Ardern government's spending to find out, and tell us, who got tax payers $115b (increase in net crown debt since 2017) because he doesn't want the next Labour government auditing and exposing Nicola Willis' suspicious actions and spending.

Anon 8:41 - NZ govts have pumped bucketloads of taxpayer money into maori seemingly forever - but somehow it never lifts those at the bottom of the heap. The numbers keep growing despite taxpayer support, despite treaty settlements. Must be a hole in the bucket eh bro? No doubt about it, as long as govts keep coughing up taxpayer funds, “we will all continue to suffer” because the incentives are all wrong.
All of the suggested Spencer Baily recomendtions will be attended to when the election produces the same Coalition Government but National will have electorate MPs but no List MP's . Intelligent voters wll generally electorate vote blue and Party Vote ACT or NZFirst.

Karen Chourr improved Maori outcomes at Oranga Tamariki by applying basics like dress code, and expected standards of behavior with consequences. It wasn't rocket science.
Studies show wrap around services work.
Supporting Maori parents to get and sustain employment, helping them pay their bills and adjust their lifestyles, and making sure their children get to school is all achievable.
Putting Bill English in charge and allowing him to hire the people he needs to successfully apply the wrap around techniques is the next vital step.
National and Luxon almost certainly don’t realise it, but he and the party have only a few weeks left to make a decision on his future as leader.
If he is to be replaced, it will need to happen soon so that a new person can lead the party and the country as Parliament resumes after the Christmas break.
Given the time these processes take and the Parliamentary shutdown later in the year when MPs disperse to their electorates, there is only November left for the party to decide.
With Luxon and National support plummeting in the polls, surely National MPs will realise soon that they face losing their jobs next year and will initiate a leadership vote.
If they don’t and instead opt for the usual do-nothing default approach, their fate is effectively sealed. Making a decision next year will create perceptions of a late-stage panic which will decrease support further.
Personally, I hope they do nothing. After all the pre-election promises which have failed to materialise (worse — they have increased the public service and pandered further to Maori separatists) they all deserve to lose their seats.
But Luxon, in his own words, is sorted. So, much like Key, why would he care about the rest of us. Polish his credentials for caring about climate, gender, rate valuations, brown people, white people who have a bit of brown. All good, move on and get a job with a Chinese investment firm.
"Honouring the Treaty" must rank as one of the great con jobs of all time - up there with the South Seas Bubble and Ponzi schemes. Masterly planning: CRT ensures a cadre of trained militia (public service, MPs, academia, media etc) to drive this; a dumbed-down Education system ensures that the population is indoctrinated with docile people who will never protest. A cultural marxist blue print to destroy a once first world nation.

Hipkins couldn't define a woman. but palmer disastrously found it simple to define a maori.
This is the real issue that needs an urgent revisit.
A bloke from Timbuktu could have a one nighter with a woman with 1% maori ascestry (no need to/way of disproving that). Any accidental resultant child is now 'maori'.
I'm sure they wouldn't automatically become a Timbuktuan.
I'm a very proud 4th generation Kiwi, our grandson 6th.
And we don't qualify for any perks.

Luxon just doesn’t seem to realise why our bright young citizens find it galling that faux Māori are being incentivised and prioritised in most aspects of NZ life these days, so why would they stay? He is not only naive, but gullible, as are many do gooders. While billions get paid out to the elites, and tribal rules apply, nothing will change. NZ and NZers will have lost income bearing assets forever. We are also giving up our Coastline. Māori are not happy to have just Customary fishing rights, they want to own the area out to 12miles so they can control and seek remuneration for the assets contained therein. And don’t try to convince me areas won’t be off limits to ordinary NZers. It is already happening, subtly in some places, but definitely happening.
