How much more taxpayer money is required?

Surely that says that marae’s certainly do not need an additional $2.44 billion? Yet Chloe and Marama seem to think so! Is a marae near you truly the “living heart of your community?”
While the Green leadership dresses this up as a “community investment,” it looks like nothing more than an expensive vote-catcher.
But whose votes are they actually chasing? The only real question left is which electorate they are trying to buy? Their own or the Maori Party’s?
This $2.44 billion “donation” isn’t about community infrastructure is it; it’s a desperate, taxpayer-funded undertaking to buy votes.
Why aren’t the media asking the Greens if they are serving New Zealanders, or just subsidising and aligning themselves with the Maori Party’s agenda?
Make no mistake, many, mainly left-wing faithful, will still defend and praise this blatant political bribe.
If you vote Green expecting genuine environmental policy, you should feel short-changed. This isn’t environmental leadership; it is a cynical, socialist, multi-billion-dollar surrender of the Green identity to affiliate with radical coalition partners!
Aahh, I see it now! This is part of the Greens wealth-redistribution scheme, in this instance, only a certain ethnicity benefits!

This will be what you vote for, not only if you vote for the Greens but if you vote for Labour as well. But the media are silent on all this, because they are so busy creating stories out of nothing to persuade people not to vote for National, NZ First and especially ACT.
What percentage of Maori have visited a marae in the last 12 months?

Why would I go anywhere near a marae? I am abused enough by Maori that I am a white colonial oppressor who is responsible for all the problems Maori have. On what planet does Marama think I would be made welcome at a marae. She even claims I am responsible for all the violence in the world because of the color of my skin.
And, PM Luxon's response (if I heard him correctly), was that his Govt had "co-invested more money into marae than any government in history" being something north of $136Million. My query is, where was the public mandate for that, and what is the expected return on that "co-investment"?
To put such in context, a big announcement recently was the $30 million allocated nationally to schools for solar energy? Priorities? I'll leave it to you to judge?
As for 'the Green's' policy, Ani O'Brien (in another post above) outlines that these $Billions allocated to Maori, will be for Maori to decide how it's spent. We all know how high 'accountability' is placed on the modus operandi in rangatiratanga. Perhaps another mansion for JT or Willie, or maybe just new silk undies for Tuku, where he contracts with a famous designer directly - to obtain something more befitting and bespoke?
PK , I really thought you were having a senior moment , but NO the gravy train was real for almost 200 million dollars for ORANGA Marae.
That is equal to 500 new family homes or maybe a 1000 if the Oranga Marae advance was used as 50% deposit and 50 % mortgage on the home .
A.I online tells me that Oranga Marae has been dissolved by the Government in July 2026. I trust that A.I is correct
