Lushington D. Brady: Jacinta Price Sets Out a New Way

Time for Aboriginal Australia to step up and out of the past

The Dutton opposition in Australia is going big and bold. Ever since John Hewson was belted so thoroughly in 1993 for daring to lay out his policies in detail two years out from an election, the received wisdom has been small-target strategy. Don’t tell anyone what your policies are until the election is announced, and even then, string them out right up to election day, if you can. If you don’t say what your policies are, the thinking goes, they can’t be attacked.

Dutton, instead, has already shown his daring on energy policy, by openly championing nuclear energy. Now, his Indigenous Affairs spokeswoman, rising party star Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, is laying out a bold policy agenda: one that goes right for the throat of the cosy “progressive” assumptions that failed so miserably, and deservedly so, at the Voice referendum.

Lushington D. Brady: ‘No’ Campaign a Big Boost for Price

One big winner from a divisive referendum

For all the “progressive” posturing of the Australian left, it was the Liberal Party who elected Australia’s first woman MP in the lower house, Dame Enid Lyons, and Australia’s first Aboriginal parliamentarian, Sir Neville Bonner, and first Aboriginal cabinet minister, Ken Wyatt.

Some political observers are speculating that the Liberal Party may already be fostering Australia’s future first Aboriginal Prime Minister. Somewhat perversely, as an unintended consequence of the current PM’s blundered, divisive, “Indigenous Voice” referendum.

Cactus Kate: The Right And Our Fight To Be Seen To Be 'Diverse'

The best example of how racist the left are is happening in Australia right now. The right have not worked out how to deal with this.

The hatred on anyone opposing the undefined “Voice”. The undefined silenced complete rort of “co-governance” creep.

We need to work this out immediately. It’s not hard.

Australia and New Zealand are currently going through this.
