Shared
parenting. When I first got involved I knew from experience that the warfare
had to be taken out of family law and the only way to do that was to remove the
threat of a parent losing their children through custody and access – shared
parenting seemed the logical way forward.
We
did our research and drafted a bill, which I submitted it into the
Parliamentary Private Members’ ballot where, like Lotto, you take your chances.
