Cam Slater: Gaslighter Ginny Busted by Her Union Pals

Gaslighter Ginny Andersen has already won the Gaslighter of the Week award at Reality Check Radio twice. She could be in for the hat trick after her union pals at the Police Association called bull dust on her claims of 1800 new Police.

As the Government celebrates its milestone of putting “1800 new police officers on the beat”, it can be revealed 270 of them don’t have arrest powers and work predominantly within stations.

Police Association president Chris Cahill and National police spokesman Mark Mitchell allege the Government has been misleading.

“They’re not what the public would call a police officer,” Cahill said.

On June 1, Prime Minister Chris Hipkins and Police Minister Ginny Andersen travelled to Porirua’s police college to celebrate training 1800 new police officers since the Government came to power.

The promise was made by the Labour and NZ First coalition in 2018 and has been repeatedly referred to as an investment in “frontline” staff. Former prime minister Jacinda Ardern previously told Parliament the 1800 officers would be “sworn”.

But numbers provided to the Herald by police show 270 of the recruits are “authorised officers”, who legally do not have the power to arrest. Most of these 270 staff are known as “specialist crime investigators” and include those working in electronic crime or as forensic accountants.

You can never believe a word these Labour ministers say. Not only were 1800 extra promised by the end of 2020, and therefore they’ve missed the target by a full three years, but they’ve also fudged the numbers and outright lied about them. By redefining what a police officer is, they’ve basically lied to us all.

Here we are, a few months out from the election, three years after the deadline for this promise expired, and they still haven’t delivered all the 1800 extra front-line Police.

No wonder gang members can take over small rural towns, when Police haven’t been given the numbers the politicians promised.

Gaslighter Ginny was even in parliament last week claiming the 1800 as if she was responsible for it all.

When faced with the hard facts of their failure these clowns never tell the truth: they always lie, obfuscate and gaslight us all. They treat us with contempt, so we should treat them the same way.

Traffic monitoring the gangs who overrun small towns is such a bad look for the police. It makes them look pathetic whilst thugs run riot.
What’s worse, this is the same gang who were given $2.7million, most of it unaccounted for, by Jacinda Ardern.
How unemployed thugs get to drive around on $35k motorcycles breaking the law and flipping the bird to the police whilst doing it, is beyond me.
It’s about time the police got some Mongrel in them and put the trash out!

And Waititi has no business telling everyone to keep their noses out of his iwi. It is everyone's business when a whole town is affected by the lawlessness of a few mongrels. Waititi is a man who thinks the usual societal protocols of law and order don't apply to Maori. Well I hope we have someone waiting in the wings to
re-educate him and all like him who think they can live by their own rules. The "sovereign sheriffs" get a hard time and rightly so. How about we stomp on the other, newer, race-based sovereignty as well? One law for all please.
