My neighbour, a solid kiwi bloke, told me the two things his parents' drummed into him were : 1) A good work ethic, 2) Honesty was the best policy. He said he has always been caught out when he deviates from these principles. My father's care worker, who is covered in tattoos, frequently tells him the only important thing she learned at Sunday school was the golden rule which she attempts to apply daily.
Please God , why have we been cursed with such diabolical,'leaders' when many of the very simplest folk in the population have a better grasp of an exemplary life style ?
