According to our academic class, their frustration leads to misogyny which is then exasperated by ‘extremist content’ online which drives them to these violent acts. Their recommendation is that figures such as Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson be banned so that their dangerous ideas are not spread.
It is interesting that the same academic class that does in-depth interviews with jihadists are not interested in doing the same type of research with white supremacists, Hindu nationalists and these so-called incels.
Perhaps the solution is simple. Wouldn’t it perhaps be much easier to first listen to these young men and, without judgement, allow them to express their frustrations? Could it perhaps be that a leading cause of this is the increasing isolation and continued demonisation of young men? This is the ‘isolation and Islamaphobia’ argument that the academic class and Muslim apologists continually put forward despite quantitative research showing the opposite. This is despite the number of cases of terrorists who admit to being radicalised and inspired by the teachings of Muslim preachers who advocate violence against non-Muslims.
Analysing the ‘rise of the far right’ in Europe, Lauren Southern argued that extreme problems and issues and soft governments lead to extreme solutions and extreme people. People, especially males, want strong men to lead them and for them to look up to and to tell them what to do and make the tough decisions. I think the same logic could apply to these young men.
The left’s attack on traditional institutions and male role models such as fathers, sports and even the Boy Scouts has left young men disenfranchised and isolated. Where could they go? Some retreated to video games. Some could turn to drugs and alcohol. The worst escape from this is suicide. Yet even the discussion around suicide and mental health is dominated by feminists who insert their own thoughts rather than listening to actual research about the causes of male suicide. Therefore, young men will retreat to the darkest corners of the Internet to find anyone who will tell them that it is OK to be male and for someone to tell them that their tendencies and impulses are completely normal and natural.
These men, the ones who act as surrogate fathers and older brothers to encourage young men to become more confident in themselves are constantly demonised as ‘misogynists’ and ‘heroes of incels’. Especially those who call out the misandry and anti-male rhetoric of the modern feminist.
Around these role models, communities form for these young men. Spaces where men can discuss their feelings about the world, about the struggles they face. These communities may form groups where young men can receive mentoring from older men and work on how to improve themselves. These communities are also opportunities for men to pursue their interests and to use the skills learnt to help the community. However, these organisations like the ‘Proud Boys’ are then branded as ‘far-right extremists’.
The Proud Boys was a group started by journalist and activist Gavin Mcinnes as a fraternity to improve the lives of young men. Their manifesto stated that they were ‘pro-western values, pro-life and pro-gun’ among other things.
The men that joined this organisation often had to swear an oath to follow the rules of the organisation which included that they must do physical exercise and not masturbate. It became a self-help group for boys to grow their confidence. This included activities such as physical exercise and martial arts. Then the group started providing security to right-wing speakers who were at risk of being attacked by Antifa and other protesters. They would extend that service to any right-winger who held rallies and protesters to protect them from counter-protesters. Some of the branches became quite active in Democrat-controlled areas such as Portland, where they protected a church hosting a public church service that was attacked by Antifa.
It was ironic that the group was labeled a ‘white supremacist organisation’ when their leader Enrique Tarrio is Latino.
Of course, none of this information was in the NZSIS report justifying why it had to be registered as a terrorist organisation. One reason that NZSISI cited was due to ‘recommendations from their allies’ but failed to mention that the FBI added the Proud Boys to their terrorist list because their leader Enrique Tarrio had taken part in the January 6th protest (which some sources claim was actually instigated by federal agents). One of the other reasons they cited was because the Proud Boys supported traditional family values.
This is an example of one organisation that has been constantly slandered by the media. But this attack has also extended to public figures who try to deradicalise men, help them with depression and improve themselves. Jordan Peterson is one such person who attempts to help men make a better life: even writing ‘Twelve Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos’, a self-help book on how anyone can improve themselves.
He is not some uneducated nutter either, having been a practising clinical psychologist for years. He is teaching men how to become successful members of society, yet he is slandered as ‘king of the incels’. In fact, because of his comments, the woke scientific establishment in the Canadian Psychological Association has demanded he take a reeducation course on ‘diversity’ or be stripped of his licence.
Another figure that has come under attack is Andrew Tate. He started off as an MMA fighter, which gained him respect. He later appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and became a TV star. Of course, we should also remember that he ran a pyramid scheme which he later admitted was a scam. He developed a programme of physical exercise and conditioning that he claimed was designed to help men to better themselves.
We celebrate female role models such as females in male-dominated industries and we promote female-exclusive groups, communities and networks, holding events where women talk about their struggles. The media preach to us about gender equality and hold panels and conferences about women’s equality. We even have an International Women’s Day which all corporations and media celebrate. The fact that we have a ministry for women in New Zealand speaks volumes of how much women, despite claims to the contrary, actually have a lot of power and privilege in society.
If women are allowed to have their time to celebrate why are men not allowed the same courtesy?
We live in a society and culture that upholds females who act like men while males who act like men are considered a threat. In fact, what is celebrated are males who act like women. At the same time, the culture celebrates women who succeed in male-dominated industries and shows sympathy to those who are ‘struggling’. Strong women are seen as role models. Support networks and groups to help females are celebrated and backed by the institutions. Role models are allowed to run programmes for females to help them become more confident. Feminists are allowed to slander and threaten males but God forbid males abuse females verbally on any media because they could be a threat.
This is the real threat to New Zealand, the emasculation of men by women, which is creating a generation of anxious, depressed and confused boys who won’t fight back when challenged or attacked. I hope our security services take note.

As a woman, I agree women have a lot to answer for. Men are expected to take on roles that were previously quite clearly a women’s role-women were mothers and men were fathers. How blurred the lines are now!
Interesting take on a topic that is under-discussed because people fear they might 'offend' someone. Note that Incels have carried out a number of multiple shootings and so they can legitimately be referred to as a 'terrorist group'.
The manly virtues include moral and physical strength exercised under his duty of care as head of the household or of a tribe or nation. I think this writer might be surprised at how many women value male leadership in those roles.
Seems to me post election, assuming the coalition takes steps to wind back the Treaty and maori separatism and maorification, then the greatest threat to order will be maori nutters. But it seems unlikely that the SIS has not followed the pattern of other govt bodies and been totally infiltarted by pro maori separtist activists. With the police and army ditto irrational maori reaction by simple mibded violent souls will be difficult to control.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but real men couldn't care less about any of this crap.
