Whose Queen?
There is no "Māori sovereign" because Māori were NEVER recognized as a "sovereign nation".
That is a historical fact.
Oh yeah, we signed a "treaty" which also was never recognized in international law (because that sovereign thing is needed).
But no worries - we wormed around that inconvenience by inventing some flakey concept "the principles" of a treaty.
So here we are.
In theory Māori are sovereign citizens of New Zealand with a Head of State King swanning around somewhere in a palace on the other side of the world.
But one could argue they are still a loose group of squabbling tribes whose self-appointed elites would like to keep it that way?

Not successfully: "They" are in fact a group of mainly white fraudsters pretending to be a single entity.

The reliance activists have in the bulk of the population having no idea what the actual articles of the treaty are is currently working in their favour….without the masses having any real clue they believe whatever tripe their told without any critical thinking or push back

The Fiji Indians came to Fiji was indentured labourers/slaves.
The descendants of these labourers do not blame this for their shortcomings.

Michael, you seem to have forgotten, or be unaware, that 'utu' lasts forever until satisfied.
On that count, the current partial descendants of Treaty subjects will NEVER BE SATISFIED!
