Since ‘cost of living’ can’t be fixed, but this can it has the potential to be the pivotal issue in this year’s election.
Electorate vote National, Party vote ACT, the only sensible way to vote.
The Waitangi Tribunal are now just "loose cannons" and on dangerous ground.
The Press, 18 Sept, has an article by a treaty lawyer asking who will do the tribunal's job if it is removed. That question assumes the tribunal is part of the furniture, like Parliament, and it will carry on reviewing grievances for ever and ever.
Naturally, the lawyer will have a job for life too.
There speaks the voice of self-interest.
Is the pro- Maori judicial branch planning an overthrow of NZ's elected government?
