John Hyndman: A Different Democracy - a Proposal for New Zealand

In 1852 the British Parliament passed the New Zealand Constitution Act, which created New Zealand's first Parliament. It established a system of representative government based on the British parliamentary tradition, which subsequently developed into our Westminster system of Government and Opposition.
