Since Labour took office in 2017 there has been a seismic shift towards greater state intervention and socialist control. But it is also true that all of the major parties have moved to the left.
Even the ACT Party which was founded on the principle of personal freedom and responsibility, has moved to a position that National once occupied.
Sir Roger Douglas founded the ACT Party but he believes it's time to take a fresh look at the role a government should take. He says we need to do things differently if we are to find a real solution to poverty, disadvantage, and inequality.
