Insights From Social Media

Posting on the Voters’ Collective FB Group, Julia du Fresne makes an excellent and compelling case for the Coalition Parties to man up, gird their loins and shoulder the burden of calling a referendum on the immediate abolition of the racist, anti-democratic, unfair, corrupt Maori sests in Parliament -we know it would pass with a massive majority, its s No-brainer ‘

Julia du Fresne on FB …………

“NZ's had a good laugh at Te Pati Maori's expense. At the giant tikis, Deb's spray-on tan, the colonialist get-ups.

But their hakas, rudeness and ridiculous rhetoric have convinced the electorate to get serious and get rid of them and all race-based representation.

100s of 1000s of Kiwis muzzled in the workplace by policies and practices protecting the racist 'treaty principles' need a referendum, to give voice to their repugnance at the apartheid lurking in this land.

Maori seats are unwanted, unnecessary and anachronistic. As indeed is Te Tiriti, stage-managed by radical separatists into producing the manifesto for a socialist ethnostate.

The danger is that the Aussie brain drain combined with the juvenile socialist-indoctrinated vote could see Labour, Greens and TPM take an election.

A referendum would solve the problem of who's going to bell the cat.

Parliament - especially Speaker Brownlee whose embarrassment at TPM antics is matched only by ours, at his limp-wristedness - surely wants an end to Maori seats. But who in the Coalition has the courage to introduce a Bill to that effect?

67% of our our current government's leadership are Maori. 31% of our cabinet are Maori. Maori are 17% of our population. Go figure. Who's over-represented (and only by the colour of their skin)? “

“67% of our current government's leadership are Maori, and 31% of our cabinet are Maori”. (And what percentage use a “spray on brown tan” to identify as Maori?)
“Part Maori are 17% of our population”, but have a lot of collaborator’s (useful idiots) “identifying” as Maori and helping them achieve their apartheid he puapua agenda.

Why are TPM in Parliament at all ?
They haven't published their election finances, until they do they can not prove they have a legal right to be called Members of Parliament.
Then there is the Manurewa marae debacle which is dragging on with extremely dubious rights to be in Parliament.
Here we are more than half way through this term and these people have been unlawfully influencing Parliament and the public, and unlawfully accepting salaries .
It's so wrong and yet nobody has the balls to do anything about it.

Brownlee should, after ejecting TPM for the 21 days, not allow them back into the House until they have complied with their legal obligations.

Sure as hell would apply to any other party.

I say stop any angry discussion and support the contribution writer Ms Julia du Fresne by evaluating all the democratic opportunities to turn New Zealand away from racing toward apartheid and by that association, any ethnicity, racism claim ,discussion or law .
The Treaty Principles Bill was NOT wasted as the discussion was mostly civil , Te Pati Maori have assisted because their actions give credibility to Maori seat abolishment . The NZCPR and Hobsons Pledge both have referendums on their internet pages with only the wording different - Abolish & Remove - Maori Electorates.
Another Petition on the Parliamentary website can be operated as a Hybrid petition giving both hand written and Parliamentary internet collection of signatures .
Then we also could have a very stern warning to PM Luxon through the Coalition Government regional Party Electorates directors - NZ wants the Maori seats removed forthwith.
This is capable because a simple majority vote in Parliament can remove the seats.
EXACTLY that and I emphasise "Exactly" as Barrister Gary Judd KC moved through MP Joseph Mooney -National Southland who introduced "the removal of Tikanga in some Law papers " to the Finance and Expenditure select committee who moved the regulation in Parliament last wWednesdy and it PASSED ( my emphasis again).
It can also be done with Maori seats because the Parliamentary regulations confirm in black and white only a majority vote in Parliament is suffice.

Yes, and even the sell out Palmer said as much when referring to the 1975 TOW Act and ALL the other statutes which give explicit recognition to the treaty. As they are not entrenched, they can be swept away by a simple majority in parliament.

Yes, I concur, Brown-nose Brownlee should tell the miscreant TPM MPs to use the unpaid 21 days wisely or not bother returning.

Even if a majority vote got rid of the Maori seats I would suggest a follow-up referendum to shut down any future prospect of other parties bringing them back!
