Let's apply this guy's principle of 'proportionality' to us Dutchies. 0.6% of NZers identify as being of Dutch ethnicity. So we should get 0.6% of that $180bn budget which is just over a billion. Divide that among us and we get about $36,000 each. I'll send the Treasury my bank account details so they make the deposit.

Well said, David.
Truly - our nation is becoming racially divided in a very big way.
It must be stopped.
It is way overdue to end ALL official recognition of race or ethnicity in ALL legislation in New Zealand.
With race/ethnicity no longer having official status, there would be:-
NO more race-based seats
NO race-specific party in Parliament.
NO more race-based wards in local government.
NO more census questions about ethnicity.
NO more co-governance, and NO more basis for claims of unending victimhood.
NO Waitangi Tribunal !
NO racial apartheid !
History tells us that no nation or society can survive while racist activists promote division and entitlement on the basis of race, (i.e. APARTHEID) and the only way to bring this to an end is by ceasing ALL official recognition of and status for race/ethnicity.

But no other ethnicity is the " indigenous people" ( another fake claim).

The authority of emotive arguments in Parliament - however absurd and unfounded - is of deep concern. Support for these from the Identity politics groups is reaching new heights and will be evident in the 2026 elections. Common sense and a clear understanding of issues are totally absent - and do not matter as they wail and screech for their " bigger share of the cake" . MP Ferris demonstrates this perfectly. Terrifying!

The distressing thing about Ferris’ speech is that he seems to believe it. For him, unless the money is tagged “For Maori only” then it’s not available for Maori. Obviously total nonsense, in that Maoris on a benefit get the benefit; Maoris in the Army get paid; sick Maoris get medications from Pharmac and so on. Mr Ferris is remarkably stupid or he thinks his constituency is.

And at the same time he would be outraged if the multi billion dollar organisations owned by iwi were required to pay tax

Of course he believes his rubbish with diabolical fervour- as all ideologues do.
