Former National Party candidate James Christmas, who was tipped as a potential minister and Attorney-General, will contest this year’s election as a candidate for the ACT Party. He is one of eight people vying to become ACT’s candidate in Auckland’s Tāmaki electorate.

I watched a few minutes. Alarm bells always ring when Maori issues are a priority. Treaty settlement blah, blah blah....Like many, I am totally fed up with this direction. A pity though, as if James had had a background of total opposition to Finlayson he might have been an absolute star. Eminently presentable and articulate, for sure.
This person is one of the panel of four who, it was reported, would finish the Treaty Principles Review by last August.
Goodness, a rational, competent-sounding human being. Certainly not National material. Good luck to him.
Pfft, talk about your softball questions. Was this meant to be journalism or is Sean just a cheerleader for a certain segment of politics these days? And the taxpayer pays money for this nonsense??

He is not (yet) ACT’s Tamaki candidate. Sloppy journalism.
