A movement so far up the fundament of its own self-righteousness that its members think nothing of raining steel blows on a woman’s spine. I would engage in some serious self-reflection if an organisation I gushed over was found to contain blokes who use weapons to crack women’s bones.
This is the news that four members of Palestine Action were found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court yesterday of causing criminal damage at a UK site of the Israel-based defence firm, Elbit Systems. One of them was also found guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He twice whacked a female police officer, Sgt Kate Evans, with a sledgehammer as she tried to arrest one of the keffiyeh-wearing intruders. He fractured her spine. She was off work for three months. To this day she experiences back pain. As Tom Gent of Avon & Somerset Police said yesterday, battering the spinal column of a female officer is not ‘protest’ – it is ‘thuggery’ and it had ‘devastating consequences’ for Sgt Evans.

The six bozos were found not guilty of aggravated burglary in February – Rooney and all the other Gazaholics lapped that up. But now four of them have been found guilty of criminal damage, and one of GBH, while the remaining two were acquitted. Perhaps even through the mental fog of their malarial loathing for Israel, the keffiyeh set can see it is not a good look to cheer twats who smash property, smash backs and clash with working-class men, all in order to make a spectacle of their own deluded sense of ethical rectitude.

Lost in a cocoon of sanctimonious fantasy, they really believe that breaking a computer in Bristol will save a life in Gaza.

Sometimes it crosses the line into something darker, like when Palestine Action smashed up a Jewish-owned business in Stamford Hill in London. This feels ‘very, very scary now’, said local Jews amid the shattered glass of that woke mini-Kristallnacht. Who could have guessed that the bourgeois left’s division of the world into ‘the anointed’ who righteously hate the Jewish State, and ‘the demonic’ who support it, would prove so catastrophic for the liberty and dignity of Britain’s Jews? I like it when people stand up to warmongers. Race and religion clearly has nothing to do with it, there has never been any evidence to suggest this. But here we have it, a commentator misframing people who are sticking up for what is right in their actions against war and genocide. Surprising there are so many space for these commentators in this day and age. War must stop now, Brendan. Don’t cheerlead horrific violence against your fellow man. I would agree with that if these thugs had it in for Hamas. Having lived in the Middle East for 17 years I am no great fan of Israel but I acknowledge their right of self-defence against forces whose aim it is to totally destroy them.

Race has been an issue associated with warfare and mas murder in that region for millennia, as recorded (with considerable embellishments, but still...) in the Jewish scriptures.
Religion has everything to do with it. On the Jewish side you have the Zionists with their Greater Israel Project because their tribal god promised them the lands they claim, and on the Muslim side you have the narrative that the same god took those territorial rights from the Jews and gave them to the Arabs.

What’s a keffiyeh class? Totally agree that the war must stop now
To Anon 3.19, "The Keffiyeh Class" is a term used by O'Neill in his article, AKA "the Keffiyeh Set" or the "Keffiyeh Mob". He makes it quite clear what he thinks of them.
Whether Allah and Yahweh are the same God is a complex debate ,with perspectives generally split between linguistic /historical connections and theological differences. The Christian Trinity
make them very different in concept. While Islam, Christianity and Judaism all claim spiritual lineage to worshipping the God of Abraham, unlike Allah of the Quran which is a title 'The God' , Yahweh is a personal specific name of God in the Old Testament and considered more intimate and loving. Jews in the OT were in a theocracy and required to defend their covenant land from invaders and trespassers with foreign theocracies. Jews believing they are God's chosen race don't evangelize or fight to expand their religion , quite unlike Muslims who believe in Jihad to spread Sharia Law throughout the world. Jesus never advocated fighting and in fact condemned it outright.
