Lushington D. Brady: Looks Like Someone’s Feeling a Bit Threatened

Nothing indicates the sheer desperation of the mainstream media than their resort to ever-more hysterical and obvious lies. Churchill apocryphally said that if you have enemies it means you stood for something. If you have enemies who constantly screech ridiculous lies about you, it means you really stand for something.

Clearly, Tucker Carlson stands for something really big, or else the mainstream media wouldn’t be shrieking such obvious bollocks as this:

Tucker Carlson is nothing without Fox News, and his sad Twitter-broadcast debut proves it.

That they are blatantly lying is given away in their own second paragraph.

First off, make no mistake: Carlson still gets the views. Within eight hours of his livestream hitting the Twitterverse on June 6, the former Fox News primetime host’s 10-minute monologue received more than 11.2 million views.

As of last checking, the video is heading towards 100 million views.

Let that sink in: 100 million views in just one day. That’s nearly 20 times CNN’s peak viewership.

So, how does the mainstream media justify their obvious lie that Carlson is “nothing”? Because the set looked a bit hokey. That really is the toughest criticism the MSM can throw at what is shaping up to be an independent media titan.

Sitting in what looked like a cabin in the woods, with metal tools hung up on wooden shelves, Carlson looked like he was broadcasting from a terribly constructed horror-movie set. […]

“Tucker on Twitter” is not “Tucker Carlson Tonight”. There aren’t any flashy chyrons or quick cuts. And Carlson – stripped down, in his little wood-filled cabin – for once, looks vulnerable.

With 100 million viewers in 24 hours, “vulnerable” is the precise opposite of the word they should be looking for.

It’s even more hilarious when the MSM turn to a discredited hack to have a good whine about a new media colossus who is shaping up to be the paradigm-shifting moment that buries the mainstream media model for good.

“It’s wild to see what a fish out of water he is on the internet: no jump cuts, no background music, no catchy thumbnail or video title. Not sure how he’s going to stack up against even an average streamer or youtuber,” the journalist Taylor Lorenz tweeted.

Lorenz, in case you’ve forgotten, is the journalist who doxxed ordinary people from the bully platform of the mainstream media, then burst into floods of tears when she got doxxed herself.

But that’s not the point: the point is that Lorenz, and all of the mainstream media, are missing the point. Carlson on Twitter isn’t meant to be just another flashy, glitzy, mainstream media talking head. As Carlson himself puts it, his new show is “the shortwave radio under the bed”. When the masters of the mainstream media are censoring dissent harder than ever, Carlson on Twitter is the subversive voice of freedom challenging the state propaganda behemoths.

And right now, Carlson’s losing.

One hundred million viewers say you’re bigger liars than ever.

Faithful followers of MSM have a very limited horizon and a distorted view of the world. Their lives are confused as they absorb carefully scripted propaganda designed to shape public opinion. It’s all done by design. Joseph Goebbels was very good at it.

Well said Ron. 'All by design' is right over the target.
