Yahya masterminded the pogrom of 7 October 2023. Mohammed succeeded him following his assassination. Hamas really has been decapitated. The Sinwars are dead. Mohammed Deif, head of the al-Qassam Brigades, was slain in an airstrike in July last year. In that same month, Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’s political boss, was taken out in a targeted strike on a guesthouse he was staying at in Tehran. This has hands down been the most successful anti-fascist operation of the 21st century so far.
The reported killing of Mohammed Sinwar could prove to be an especially important event. It would have consequences – brilliantly dire ones – both for Hamas and for the West’s army of Israel-haters. It seems he was meeting with his fellow neo-fascists in a bunker under the courtyard of the European Hospital. That’s a hospital that was set up with a grant from the European Union and run by the UN through its local Palestine agency, UNRWA. Let that sink in: a mass murderer of Jews, the leader of a movement that carried out the worst act of anti-Semitic slaughter since the Nazis, found refuge under a facility funded by the globalist outfits that are forever wagging a finger at ‘genocidal’ Israel.
Where the murderous anti-Semite took physical cover in an institution birthed by the EU, he was given moral cover by the anti-Israel activist class. No sooner had Israel bombed the European Hospital than it was being branded a ‘war crime’. Social media were awash with rage against the ‘Zionist monsters’ and their ‘atrocities beyond imagination’. This strike ‘highlights Israeli attacks on [Gaza’s] health system’, said the New York Times. Some believe Israel is ‘aiming to destroy Gaza’s health infrastructure’, it said. Sky News went all out to ‘debunk’ Israel’s claim that it had struck a Hamas cell. In truth, it bombed a hospital where ‘kids with cancer are waiting to be evacuated’. Firing missiles at diseased children – that’s how evil the Jewish State is.
Yet now it seems that what’s really falling apart is not Israel’s insistence that Sinwar was under that hospital, but the incessant cry of ‘LYING ZIONISTS’ from influencers in the West. Within days of the strike, there were reports from Gaza that Sinwar was indeed in a tunnel there. Asharq Al-Awsat, the London-based Arab newspaper, cited ‘sources’ saying Sinwar was killed in the hospital strike and his body was removed by Hamas and ‘temporarily buried’ in another tunnel. Saudi sources said Sinwar was definitely there, along with other ‘top militants’, including Mohammad Shabana, commander of Hamas’s Rafah brigade. He was reportedly killed, too.
Israeli officials said it was ‘likely’ Sinwar was killed. And now Netanyahu says, yes, he was ‘eliminated’ – not something the PM would so confidently state if he didn’t have solid intelligence that Sinwar is no more. So the ‘Zionist monsters’ did not strike the European Hospital because they lust for the blood of innocents with cancer – they struck it because Jew-hating militants were gathered there. Their target was not sick children but sicko fascists. For all the neo-medieval whispers about the Jewish nation gleefully laying waste to a medical facility full of kids, in truth it fired a targeted missile at men who organised the mass rape and murder of Jews.

Great article Brendan. Yes we know the truth. If the far left media tell us something we pretty much know they are lying.
What's Brendan's argument here? That Israel was morally justified in bombing a hospital (one in an already long list of hospitals and other Gazan infrastructure they have flattened) and killing its patients simply because (they say) some Hamas leader was under it at the time? Isn't this "collateral deaths in pursuit of Hamas targets" argument the one Israel has already been using for months, and the one that people aren't already buying? Only a Zionist zealot would think it's a good idea to keep rolling out this ridiculous justification. Sorry Brendan, but you're not really helping resuscitate Israel's public image here. I know you think you are, but you're really not.
The audacity of the monstrosity being committed is unbelievable. The genocide in Palestine is being carried out in such a brazen and audacious manner that, if Western and Israeli leaders are not held accountable for their heinous crimes, they will feel emboldened to turn their savagery upon the rest of us. Therefore, whether we like it or not, the existential struggle of the Palestinian people is our struggle as well. We are all Palestinians now.
O'Neill's point is that the morally corrupt HAMAS leadership is deliberately using Gazans as human shields. Civilian casualties are an inevitable part of every war, but in Gaza, HAMAS doesn't care how many civilians die. That's because for their own purposes there are no such things as civilians. Only true believers who are required to die for Allah. In a war that follows Western morality, that would be framed as giving aid and comfort to the enemy, making them legitimate military targets.
But of course, Israel does not do that, as O'Neill vigorously states. They are very careful to give warnings of their intentions to avoid civilian casualties. When did any combatant in a war tell the other side they were about to be attacked? But so far as HAMAS is concerned, the more civilian deaths the better. Notice how the Health Ministry never says how many HAMAS operatives died in an Israeli attack but remorselessly reports the number of women and children killed. Notice how there is always a camera ready and waiting for that shot of a man carrying a bleeding child? How there's always a camera waiting to film a woman wailing about a death in the family? Undoubtedly some are genuine, but they are equally capable of being staged for the compliant, unquestioning, Western media and HAMAS fully endorses the old maxim that the first casualty of war is the truth. HAMAS could stop the killing tomorrow by releasing all the hostages and acknowledging Israel's right to exist. But they don't. And that reinforces their moral corruption. So if it suits Madam B to believe everything HAMAS says and does, then that's his or her right, but it surely labels him/her as belonging to the "deluded faux-virtuous of the Western world" that O'Neill refers to. Oh, and by the way. If HAMAS wanted to refute Israel's claim to have killed Mohammed Sinwar, then they only have to trot him out to a press conference to show the world he is alive and well. But of course they can't, because he 's dead, just as reported, and presumably now enjoying his seventy-two virgins in the after-life.
I used to feel a lot of sympathy for Israel. No longer. All that is gone. Their total disregard/contempt for Palestinian lives is inexcusable.

They frequently lie about all the current issues whether it be covid, transgenderism, climate change , the real situation in Ukraine , CRT and so on The UN is dominated by Muslims.
As a Christian I believe in the Jewish cause and biblical prophesy about them. However I do believe Israel can make bad mistakes as recorded in the bible they frequently went astray. But I believe overall they are much more humanitarian than Hamas and their brainwashing of the entire Palestinian population into hatred of Jews. and determination to destroy the Jewish nation.
The battle going on is a highly religious one and biblical prophesy has had remarkable historically accuracy and has predicted that Israel will always eventually prevail . I like being on the winning side and have a sigh of relief that Muslim jihad will not take over the world as they prophesize in their writings. I am not fond of Mohammad the warlord and husband to a multitude of women including a preteen girl.

Doesn't it follow that, if the Israelis know that Hamas are "using children as human shields" (which, btw, doesn't seem to work as intended, if they are doing this - which is dubious, because those doing the bombing are same the ones telling us this is the case), then the Israelis are willingly killing children regardless? Basically, the Israeli argument is "yes, we are bombing thousands of children and other civilians to death, but they are being placed in harms way by Hamas." Only an Israeli would be so lacking in self-awareness to seriously think that this in anyway justifies their actions.

Perhaps Madam B should indulge in a little less emotional handwringing and instead suggest a realistic solution to the war in Gaza. That solution will of course need to deal with HAMAS' religious bigotry that results in children being considered as nothing more that tomorrow's jihadists, and women as having only one purpose in life and that is to bear those children. War is hell and women and children will always get killed. But there is no moral consistency when you deliberately put your own non-combatants into harm"s way and then protest when your opponents play by your rules and kill them. The brutal truth is that Israel has no alternative. It's fighting for nothing less than its survival as a nation against a fanatical opponent that glorifies death. So come on Madam B. Let's hear why you don't accept that HAMAS could end the killing tomorrow by returning the hostages and acknowledging Israel's right to exist?
