Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement for an exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners, a breakthrough in negotiations to end the devastating war in Gaza just days after it passed the two-year mark.
President Trump, who pushed to broker the deal, said on social media Wednesday that both sides had agreed to the first phase of his peace plan, which requires Israel to pull back its troops to an agreed-upon line. . .
These are the people who were taken hostage on October 7th two years ago, it’s thought only about 20 of them are still alive.

May this first step take place, those hostages still alive be returned and may the other steps that ensure peace follow soon.
