Here it is, the United Nations new “Bogeyman”!
Be very, very afraid because it is on our door step!
As governments begin to sense the public’s growing disillusionment and disengagement with the threat inherent in climate change narratives, political focus, as it does when it senses a significant wind change, is shifting.
Fading climate hysteria is being replaced with a new urgent, unavoidable threat to human survival!
Realising that voters see through the bogus climate crisis rhetoric, leadership is pivoting toward a new, more tangible alarm, Global Water Bankruptcy!

According to a report by the United Nations University (note the academic validation. Who knew the UN had a university?) the world has entered an era of “Global Water Bankruptcy,” signifying an unrelenting state where many vital water systems are depleted beyond full recovery.
This condition differs from water supply crisis by presenting a fundamental failure of the world’s hydrological balance, where humanity is quickly depleting ancient water capital like groundwater, glaciers, and wetlands.
With the diminishing power of climate change to cower the general public, the machinery of alarmism has to recalibrate. The “climate crisis” rhetoric of the last decade is losing its edge, losing its power to control and has to be replaced by a more visceral and immediate threat.
We are entering the era of Global Water Bankruptcy.
The report by United Nations scientists claims the world has moved beyond a mere “water crisis” into a state of permanent, irreversible water “insolvency.”
New threat, new terminology!
But the underlying formula for social control remains remarkably consistent!
The politics of fear follows an internationally consistent model that is designed to diminish liberty through a calculated, time proven, well used process.
To maintain and escalate the fear narrative the promoters of the newly launched, irreversible water crisis, firstly, try to isolate those who oppose the new “hydrological famine” by branding the deniers as dangerous sceptics. Secondly, they frame anyone questioning the “hydrological famine” as a threat to the majority’s survival! They are shown to be voices to be discounted and persons to be shunned!
All of the above is ably and willingly assisted by the doomsayers strongest ally, the MSM!
Then comes the use of coercion on the “self-interested.” A strategy where a percentage of the population is induced to support any restrictive processes. In the main these supporters emanate from the scientific academia cadre, and co-operate through perceived self-interest. The self-interest that is the lure of the publication of their dogma and the belief that by sacrificing the rights of “wasteful” minorities, their own supply might be secured.
Those that attempt to oppose are bombarded with the “Lesser Evil” dogma. Potential opponents are manipulated into accepting the radical, but spurious overreach by the bombardment of the terrifying suggestion that “the alternative would be worse.”
The transition from climate change/carbon-counting mantra to water-rationing is a strategic pivot by the UN. The concept of atmospheric parts per million of carbon dioxide and methane has a sense of the abstract, whereas water is a tangible object, a tangible object that is daily necessity.
By declaring “bankruptcy” rather than a “crisis,” authorities, knowingly, are signalling that the era of restoration has passed. We are being informed by a compliant MSM that we can no longer return to thinking in terms of historical baselines; we must instead submit to “bankruptcy management” and that is nothing but a euphemism for the setting of a permanent state allocation of life’s most basic resource.
Once a viable number of the scientific academia cadre and the “useful idiots” are fully engaged in the duplicity, concern and fear are the overriding emotions, we would then witness the move to drive even further compliance by the application and emphasis of the human and economic impacts of the water bankruptcy!
Here the use of, what can only be concocted, alarming statistics such as –
“70%” (my numbers) of the world’s population live in countries that could be classified as “water-insecure” or “critically water-insecure”.
Because of climate change the world now contains approximately “4 billion” people who experience severe water insecurity for at least part every year.
Excessive underground aquifer pumping/draining has caused land to sink over “5%” of the global land area. Some areas are experiencing annual drops of up to “15 centimetres.”
The economic costs associated with Water Bankruptcy play a significant part in converting minds. The annual value of lost wetland ecosystems is estimated at “$5 trillion”, while the annual global cost of drought-related damages has reached “$300 billion”.
But the knockout punch is food security! Roughly “3 billion people” live in areas where total water storage is declining or unstable. These regions produce more than half of the world’s food.
Fear becomes normalised. Constant exposure to fearful messaging, over decades thanks to the MSM and their authentication of the “climate change crisis” has made individuals more susceptible to manipulation. History has proven, many times, that a fearful populace prioritises survival over liberty. How simple is it to make fear the most efficient tool for maintaining absolute control.
It is no surprise that the UN has been, increasingly, criticised for its focus and its alignment with “woke” ideology and its partnership with the World Economic Forum.
The UN has drifted from its original mission and its priority has been modified to the point where it is no longer about preventing conflict between nations. The UN has evolved into a partner of the World Economic Forum promoting corporatized global governance and is led by those requiring an international vessel for “woke” ideology delivery.
By merging the “Great Reset” with the Sustainable Development Goals, the UN has pivoted from peacekeeping and diplomacy to the top-down imposition of leftist ideology and the enforcement of environmental, social, and governance standards.
A move many see as a final betrayal of its founding purpose.
A move that may prove to be the beginning of its demise!

Herman Goring summed it up very simply as -“Naturally, the common people don’t want war… but after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along… all you have to do is tell them they are being attacked.”

This is great....for Nz. The new 'oil'. We should be taking this resource which we have an abundance of, and selling it to the rest of the world.
What we should NOT be doing: allowing foreign companies to pay $145 registration fee and take billions of litres out.
But wait, this is NZ, I'm sure we will manage to f$&k it up.
With seeing so much of the climate narrative falling apart, I've been wondering what would replace it
When all the hype is overlooked, we are still left with a very real problem in the making, which is adequacy of water supply.
I lived in Botswana for a few years and came to realise how important (and expensive) good water management is where the precious resource is rather limited. (They meter your water and you get a monthly water bill alongside your power bill....... kinda drives it home!)
You'd think water scarcity would be the last thing you'd need to worry about in the New Guinea Highlands but I recall with a shudder one year (I think it was 1996) when the taps in the sky were just about turned off. Within a couple of months the surrounding forest looked like it had been used as an artillery test site (allow me some literary license).
It has been mooted that the next major war in the Middle East will be over water rather than oil. And tensions are already flaring over water distribution in the Nile region as upstream nations hog the previous resource.
So let's not chuck out the baby with the bathwater. Water is a serious business and its availability can take a turn for the worse very quickly.
