Professor John Raine: Balancing the climate narrative - The science is not settled
Labels: Climate change, Greenhouse Gas, John Raine, Net Zero, Paris AgreementThe 23rd July 2025 USA Department of Energy (DoE) Report, “A Critical Review of Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions on the U.S. Climate” [1], authored by five eminent scientists, at last brings some balance back into official statements on climate change and humankind’s contribution to this. The USA DoE Report reviews the science around how anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gas emissions have affected, or will affect, climate in the USA, extreme weather events, and selected metrics of societal wellbeing.

Ian Bradford: Further Evidence Human Are Not Causing Global Warming
Labels: Global Warming, Ian Bradford, Man-made climate change, Net ZeroAt today’s CO2 concentration in the atmosphere of approximately 420 parts per million, CO2 has little ability to absorb heat and is therefore a weak “greenhouse gas.” Its ability to warm the planet and at higher levels of CO2 is very small. As CO2 concentrations increase, its ability to warm the planet decreases rapidly. This means the common assumption that carbon dioxide is the main driver of climate change is no longer true and is scientifically false. More carbon dioxide cannot cause catastrophic global warming or more extreme weather. Neither can methane or nitrous oxide, the levels of which are so small that they are irrelevant to climate.

Chris Morrison: Trees Get Bigger Around the World Thanks to Higher CO2 Levels
Labels: Carbon Dioxide, carbon emissions, Chris Morrison, Climate alarmism, Global greening, Net ZeroRecent scientific investigation, curiously missing from constant mainstream media reports of ecological Armageddon, confirms that trees are getting larger around the world due to higher levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide fertilisation. A little extra of the gas of life, nature’s bountiful plant food, has led to bigger trees and more leaf growth over the last few decades.

Mike Butler: Climate, resources, wealth, control
Labels: Agenda 25, Christopher Luxon, Climate change, John Clauser, Klaus Schwab, Mike Butler, Net Zero, World Economic ForumA master plan by the world’s uber-wealthy elite to profit by controlling all resources, radically change the food we eat, transform the supply of electricity and dictate how we use it, and replace currency with a system of credits, is circulating and not taken seriously.
Agenda – their vision of the future 2025, a feature-length independent documentary written and produced by Mark Sharman, former United Kingdom broadcasting executive at ITV and Sky, provides more evidence.

Hannes Sarv: Global Warming is Mostly Caused By the Sun, Not Humans, Says Astrophysics Professor
Labels: Adaptation, carbon emissions, Climate alarmism, climate emergency, Hannes Sarv, Net Zero, Nuclear Power, Physics, The Sun“There’s no such thing as a scientific consensus,” Nir Shaviv, a Professor at the Racah Institute of Physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem says in response to a question about what he thinks of the widespread claim that there is a scientific consensus on the anthropogenic nature of climate change. “In science, we deal with open questions and I think that the question of climate change is an open question. There are a lot of things which many scientists are still arguing about,” he explains.

Matt Ridley: How the Green Energy Transition Makes You Poorer
Labels: Green Energy, Matt Ridley, Net ZeroA leaked government analysis has found that Net Zero could crash the economy, reducing GDP by a massive 10% by 2030. Yet the spectacular thing about this analysis is that it expects this to happen not if Net Zero fails—but if it succeeds. In effect, it is saying that if the government really does force us to give up petrol cars, gas boilers, foreign holidays, and beef, then there would be perfectly workable things left idle, such as cars, boilers, planes, and cows. Idling—or stranding—your assets in this way is an expensive economic disaster.
Joanne Nova: Bankers now abandoning Net Zero too
Labels: Banks, Joanne Nova, Net ZeroBanks are not only fleeing from the Net-Zero Bankers club, now they are abandoning their own Net Zero targets too, and in dumping them, we find out they never meant a damn thing anyway. It’s the complete disassembly of a plastic onion, every layer just a fake as the layer before.
But none of these news or investor outlets is even asking the right questions — why did anyone think banks wanted to save the world? How did it ever make sense to pretend that banking institutions were going to turn themselves into Global Angels, fixing the weather, harrassing their clients to switch to paper bags, and turning down loans for coal miners?

Bjorn Lomborg: An Inconvenient Truth - Our climate policies cant save the environment. So what will?
Labels: Bjorn Lomborg, Climate policies, Environment, Net ZeroIn an effort to minimise the effects of climate change, countries in the developed world are chasing net-zero at all costs, causing high energy prices and reduced energy consumption.
The problem? In this video, Bjorn Lomborg explains how, across the world, it is countries with the highest energy consumption that create the most wealth, and it is those with the most wealth that are most able to care for the environment.
By enacting policies that reduce energy availability and increase cost, the 'net-zero' agenda is preventing the very thing it aims to achieve.

Chris Morrison: Net Zero is Dying Around the World.....
Labels: ChinaClimate Alarmism, Chris Morrison, Climate Change Committee, Coal, Fossil Fuels, IPCC, Net Zero, United StatesNet Zero is Dying Around the World But the Diehards Live on Helped by Vast Amounts of Chinese Coal
In 2021, President Xi Jinping promised that China would “strictly limit the increase in coal consumption over the 14th five-year plan period (2021-2025) and phase down in the 15th five-year plan period (2026-2030)”. Perhaps something got lost in the translation of “strictly limit” or should we just limit ourselves to the appropriate response – hahahahaha. Net Zero is dying around the world, no more so than in China where the appropriate lip service goes hand in hand with the full service manufacturing and sale of dud windmills and solar panels to subsidy-seekers reliant on dwindling bands of deluded politicians.

Mike's Minute: A reality check for the zealots
Labels: Come to our senses, Mike Hosking, Net ZeroThere were two hardcore reality checks this week as a result of the arrival of the Trump sequel.
BP summed up the climate dilemma very succinctly when he said they got it wrong on net zero.

Chris Morrison: Sea Levels Could Rise Six Feet by 2100 Claims Daily Mail in Latest Pseudoscientific Fearmongering
Labels: Chris Morrison, Climate change, Net Zero, rising sea levelsInterest in pursuing the Net Zero fantasy is falling faster around the world than Dale Vince’s divorce-challenged bank account. Soon we might see an end to all the pseudoscientific fearmongering in mainstream media designed to promote the society-destroying campaign. Thankfully there is still some entertainment to be had, with Mail Online recently publishing an old favourite claiming that six-foot high sea level rises caused by “global warming” will submerge major cities such as London, Hull and Cardiff within 75 years.

Dr James Allan: Climate Change Giving Meaning to Life
Labels: Climate alarmism, Climate change, Dr James Allan, Left-wing, Los Angeles Fires, Net Zero, Religion, WildfiresThe religious mindset embraces the belief that there is more to life than the material world of the senses. There are truths that transcend the here and now. Things that give a non-contingent meaning to human existence. This is obvious with the monotheistic religions, and a little less obvious with Buddhism and polytheistic beliefs. Still, the appeal of this sort of belief in transcendent truths is pretty obvious. That means that not all that many people who reject established religions will move over to some sort of David Hume or Bertrand Russell-type sceptical view that what you see is what you get – we are here because of the fortuitous collisions of trillions of atoms, lots of time and even more luck. As Hume famously said, “the life of a man is of no greater importance to the universe than that of an oyster”.

Sallust: The Cold Truth – Britain’s Grim Winter’s Tale
Labels: Australia, Energy Costs, energy crisis, Gas, Net Zero, renewable energy, Sallust, Wind power, WinterUnfortunately, climate activists live in the fantasy world of averages and averages of averages, not reality. In their mythical universe temperatures can be stabilised and power consumption projected, all based on those averages. Their ideology has been allowed to drive Government policy for years and the result has been a misguided reliance on the vagaries and unreliability of solar and wind power.

Jordan Peterson has branded Net Zero a “brutal” form of “nature worship”. Speaking to Spectator Editor Michael Gove, the famed Canadian psychologist says the fanatical agenda is leading only to “petty tyranny” and is a “catastrophe” for the world. Here’s an excerpt.

Sallust: The Net Zero Riots
Labels: Climate alarmism, energy crisis, green agenda, Konstantin Kisin, Net Zero, Sallust, Summer RiotsThe Russian-British satirist and author Konstantin Kisin has popped up in a video chat with Youtuber and podcaster Chris Williamson with a damning verdict on Britain’s prospects while being led headlong into the crippling consequences of taxation and a Net Zero fantasy.
Kisin starts right out with the view that “at the moment” Britain is “f***ed”.

Chris Morrison: Recent Temperature Falls Likely to Put a Dampener on ‘Hottest Year Evah’ Stories
Labels: Chris Morrison, Climate change, El Nino, La Nina, Net ZeroStand by for another bout of ‘Hottest Year Evah’ stories as the mainstream media pursues its campaign to induce mass climate psychosis and prepare the ground for the oncoming Net Zero catastrophe. Alas, enjoy it only a little while longer since this story may have to be retired after putting in such a sterling propaganda shift. Global temperatures are falling like a stone, while the oceans are cooling at a remarkably rapid rate. In the U.K., the year is likely to show a second annual temperature fall since the alleged ‘record’ year in 2022.

Richard Lindzen & William Happer: Net Zero Policies Will Have A Trivial Effect on Temperature, But Disastrous Effects on People Worldwide
Labels: Climate change, CO2 emissions, Net Zero, Richard Lindzen, William HapperThe United States and countries worldwide are vigorously pursuing regulations and subsidies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to Net Zero by 2050 on the assumption, best stated by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), that the “evidence is clear that carbon dioxide (CO2) is the main driver of climate change” and is “responsible for more than 50% of the change.”

Rupert Darwall: Britain shows why net zero would be a disaster for the U.S.
Labels: Britain, China, Net Zero, Rupert Darwall, U.S.Six days after this November’s presidential election, the annual United Nations climate change talks will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan. Unlike the election, no one is holding their breath. Baku will be the twenty-ninth in the series. Climate change regularly draws gatherings of world leaders like no other. When the U.S. president shows up, everyone who is anyone turns up, too. These events often represent milestones in the upward ascent of global climate action.

Viv Forbes: Net Zero Burial of Carbon Dioxide
Labels: Australian affairs, Carbon Dioxide, Net Zero, Queensland Government, Viv ForbesThe Queensland Government recently placed a ban on pumping and dumping carbon dioxide into the rocks of the Great Artesian Basin.
This was an event rarely seen – politicians have stumbled onto a sensible energy policy. Burying CO2 would achieve nothing useful – just more futile green waste.
But their ban on Carbon Capture and Underground Storage (CCUS) should be extended to all areas of Queensland, not just this one basin.
