Here is Garrick Tremain's cartoon commentary on Maoridom's new puppet!

Garrick Tremain is one of New Zealand's best known artists and political cartoonists. With a background in farming and advertising, he has a wonderful ability to capture in images exactly what people are thinking in a way that makes us laugh. You can see his more of his work on his website HERE.

Tut tut Garrick. Younger persons will find it hard to believe but such real cartoon humour was quite normal 30 and more years ago. This example would not have been out of place in the 1920s when the world was functional. I wonder if Meng hangs these in his office? Devising basis for complaint will probably be made a Maori Studies exercise. Is the clothing patch racist? (Some of my clothes are)
If only the msm could present the current situation so succinctly. Worth a month lot of large Herald cartoons which substitute size for content.
Thanks again Garrick.

Muldoon hung Scott cartoons on his office wall. I suspect Chippy does not.
