Act and NZ First are duking it out over who first came up with the idea of pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Act made the announcement on Tuesday morning. That afternoon Winston Peters claimed on social media that he’d come up with the idea first.

Zero Carbon Act
NZ First is partially responsible for the Zero Carbon Act and a net zero target. A commitment to pass the Zero Carbon Act was in NZ First’s coalition agreement with Labour. The Zero Carbon Act sets out how New Zealand must meet its obligations under the Paris Agreement.

So if NZ First is opposed to the Paris Agreement, it will be a reversal of years of advocacy for it and even claiming credit for the Zero Carbon Act!

How Peters manages to bullshit to voters, every 3 years reflects very poorly on the cerebral function of those who choose to vote for him.
His cardinal sin over the years being to support Ardern, primarily because of his personal animus towards English....a grudge he bore for years.
Whatever he says, MUST be tempered with several handsful of salt in this 'political tragics' view.
Also, never forget NZ First were physically standing BESIDE Ardern and Woods when they without consultation with the public, killed the Taranaki oil and gas industry...shooting all NZers in both feet.
I have no doubt he will from now on try and 'slag off' David Seymour, with faux statements until the next election....and given half a chance ,use this bullshit to justify going with Labour, claiming an inability to continue in coalition with ACT accusing them of 'unreliability' or some other specious reason. Already , his fragile ego forces him to snipe at Seymour over Gaza...his opening gambit imo, to justify choosing Labour next year!

The stunt he pulled after the 2017 election shows everything I need to know about Peters. The only thing I trust him to do is what he thinks is best for him.
As confusion reigns, Act’s David Seymour delivers the consistent voice of reason and deserves the mantle leadership.
Is that the same David Seymour who hand picked:
1. Brooke VV, currently responsible for a covid inquiry which doesn’t consider it worthwhile to publically question the architects of the $74.4b covid fraud
2. Nicole McKee who is inncreasing alcohol supply to our communities without one thought or plan for mitigating the harm all that extra alcohol will cause.
It is interesting that a guy in the employ of the National Party runs a website and publishes articles full of Luxon abuse and Seymour praise.
Unfortunately Winston, lets his personal dislike of even his allies cloud his judgement on some matters
