There is NOW a deliberate push to remove the idea of part Maori from public discourse, not because there are no part Maori but because all living Maori, every single one, is part Maori. There are no Maori left....FACT
Some time somewhere some place it will be revealed there is no such entity as “Maori”.
The term will revert to its historic nomenclature for the native Peoples who had arrived in New Zealand some years earlier than the Europeans who settled and tried to bring civilisation to the disparate Native groupings who spent almost their entire energy on enslaving eating and bringing to submission any other tribal grouping they encountered until February 1840.
There are no longer any persons with out additional racial genetics included in their biology.
There is no one language across those identifying as “Maori” and the language is expanding greatly from academia creating additional words and phrases to accomodate the needs from the extremely limited vocabulary that 1840 New Zealand encountered to write the Treaty. We've spent over 600m creating a useless leach drenched invented psuedo language.
Maori Culture now embraces so much European technology and accoutrements it no longer relates on anyway to what Hobson encountered in 1840.
The very ideal of the culture abandoned by more civilised groupings across the globe, of chieftainship delivered by violent usurpation by gladiatorial combat has not yet become embraced by the feral Maori of 2025, with many still holding to might is right as a basic concept of power...the tribal and hierarchical nature of Maori activist's mindsets and generally inane utterances is a constant reminder of the absurd of the entire Maori proposition.

Tell that to Luxon. When one can claim to be a Māori just because they feel like it, is ludicrous.
And yet Luxon insists that anyone with any Maori DNA should have extended privileges.

The reality is we have a population now of over 5 million. Alarm bells should ring when a PM states"there is nothing he likes" about a bill promoting equality of citizenship. Many New Zealanders would identify with a logo of a "vegemite jar" or a "pair of jandals" just as much as a "koru" for example. We are all different, all unique and all living in a supposed democracy. I couldn't care less what these parties call themselves. Labour no longer represents the working class, National no longer represents their original values. Every citizen should have equality not equity(which is unattainable). Part-Maori businesses should thrive ,but being propped up by the taxpayer and an ethnicity being given more rights is untenable.
I just want to see Maori small business owners in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Please give examples of dairy owners, restaurant owners, Maori retailers in these three cities.

Never let academics get involved in decisions until after they have been made, then they can theoretically analyse away until they disappear up their fundamental orifice.

At risk of repeating, a timbuktuan could have a one night stand with a girl with 1% maori ancestry, while passing through en route., so to speak.

Don't blame everyday people who (proudly) label themselves as 'maori', you know the people that you and I deal with and have fun with every day.
It's the less than 1% shit stirrers, totally foreign to most genuine maori people, who have always benefitted zilch from their blunderbussing, self appointed, fat (metaphorically) 'leaders'.. .

At last someone is saying it loudly and clearly “there are no Maori…they don’t exist”. The original Maori started inter breeding with Europeans immediately the Europeans started arriving 250 years ago. Now there are no full blooded Maori left. The last one died out in the 1970s. People who call themselves Maori are in fact part-European and most are less than 50% Maori.
This is such an important point. Why should part-Maori be compensated for any claimed wrongs by Europeans when they are part European. My ancestry is part English and part Scot. Should I be able to claim compensation from the English for wrongs against the Scots when I’m also part English? Of course not!
The whole Treaty reparations process is nonsense. We made a huge mistake 45 years ago when we started all this process. Instead we should have accepted what had happened historically was necessary and successful. We were one people with various cultures, but all equal.
If you’re annoyed, mister 4th generation, think about what the 12th generation kiwis must be feeling! Or the 2nd generation kiwis!
