She’s keeping it real in the “budget” range of NZ$3.5 million to $4.8 million—essentially the property equivalent of a hair shirt for a socialist. It’s a brave new world of poverty-chic when your “relocation” involves a coastal lifestyle while your former constituents back home are still waiting for that “silver bullet” to fix their own rent.

Jacinda has always followed the socialist motto that all people are equal but some are more equal than others.
The Aussies have no idea of what Ardern really is and the real damage she did to NZ.
Do they know about He Puapua for example ?

SO our "esteemed" Citizen, honored with a Royal Knighthood, which I will always proclaim, was a 'carrot' [by labour hierachy, in the backroom] to get rid of her, as they could see, from studying under Maori Tutelage [on the Gods of sea, water, gas and public money] that at the next general election she would become that Dunedin Albatross around the Parties neck.
The analogy - "it is easy to get the Albatross to fly away, than kill it, that would cause all sorts 'green waste' calamity, starting with DOC staff first , then the 'make believe' greens in well-ing-toon.
As Australia is heading towards becoming the next Cuba or Venezuela, under a Marxist/Socialist PM (who has been that way inclined since his uni days), 'our dame' could seek employment in that "new" Govt and apply her skill sets as learnt whilst at a US Uni -Harvard I believe, who have an Academic group that lean left.
And with Australia also showing "kindness' toward the Muslim Community, JA could learn to wear a Burka.

With her possibly misjudged response to covid, Jacinda wrecked many careers, business' and, through the associated inflation, many persons saving's. He Puapua should have provoked great ire but I suspect only about 10% of non maori became aware of or grasped the implications, and whilst most of those would be opposed they not crackpots..Yet despite moderate shortcomings, and a civilised intelligent affected group, she is too scared to face the NZ public. Little wonder mps are so reluctant to take a firm line against maorification. With the wild insurgent rhetoric to which maori are subject, and the large proportion of unbalanced, the threat in retirement to any seriously and consistently counter maori would render unprotected retirement life in NZ extremely tedious and risky.
